“I got bed bug bites from the bed! Not a good experience. I am not pleased at all but I hope it was a one time thing and will not ever happen again.”

• The attentiveness of room service, the room decor and the location to my business meeting and local shopping malls.

“I thought the hotel and staff were fabulous. Out of all the hotels I have stayed in, this one was one of the best. I loved the decor of the room and most importantly, I love the attentiveness of room service. This hotel was most certainly fabulous. Thank you for your hospitality. Peace and blessings!”

• They even let us use their oven to re-heat a previously purchased pizza, which was excellent by the way! Nothing like a good Chicago pizza!
• Nothing. Location, hotel and facilities were perfect.

• Rooms were fairly modern. Not dated and clean.
• Tucked away and difficult to find. Had to call desk twice to get help finding it.

“The hotel is tucked away off the 'main drag'. We had to call the desk twice to get directions. Once we found it, it was nice. Check-in was a breeze. Staff was friendly but not too friendly. Room was on the 4th floor. It was clean. We received a king bed. There was also a pull-out couch which we didn't use. Complimentary coffee in the room. Flat panel TV and nice furniture. Pool is very small but was fine for taking the kids for a dip. Wouldn't work to swim laps, I don't think. Hot tub was great. Easy checkout in the morning.”

• I asked for a room with a balcony and it was given to me.
• The size of the swimming pool.

“The people at the front desk were very kind. The room was clean. It was quiet. We were very comfortable there. We felt rested at the end of our stay.”

• Extremely slow internet, extra charge for continental breakfast.

“The hotel was very nice. It was somewhat complicated to find for someone not familiar with the area, but the directions were adequate. The hotel internet was extremely slow and the staff was using the computer in the lobby and said it was not for guest use, even though it was clearly marked otherwise. All in all it was very nice and the problems were negligible. The only thing that would have improved it was if the hotel did not charge extra for their continental breakfast.”

• The hotel was very clean and check in seamless. My reservation was as I'd made it.
• It wasn't as easy to find from the road as it's tucked in behind a strip mall.

“While breakfast was not included as part of the cost, the breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. I did not use the pool or exercise room but the lobby area with fireplace was very welcoming. The hotel could have better signage on how to get to it from the road. Overall it was a terrific experience and a hotel that I could recommend.”

• Heating/AC unit was a little loud, but not awful.

“The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was decorated nicely for the Christmas season. It was in a great, quiet location. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our needs. We would definitely stay here again.”

• Very helpful night staff!
• No air circulation in the workout room.

“Although located in a business area on the edge of town, access in and out of the courtyard by Marriott is easy and quick. An excellent, friendly and effective staff makes your stay a decided pleasure. The rooms are clean and good sized. The bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds Ive encountered. We may have found a new favorite motel in the St. Charles/Geneva area!”
