• Near shopping and things to do.
• Rooms are small compared to some others I have stayed at.

“I think the staff was great and checked in, in a matter of 2 minutes! They are very quick. The room was clean but I think the room was a bit small, other than that I would stay again!”

• Nothing.
• No wireless internet, only wired internet, terrible state of room, old and dirty, very poor service, staff initially refused to help call for cab.

“This is a terrible hotel to stay in---do not stay at this hotel! The staff are very unhelpful (they refused to help call for a cab initially). I have stayed in a couple of hotels in St Charles and all have called for cabs for me (one even drove me!). The room I stayed was in a pathetic condition, everything inside was extremely old and worn out. And the entire hotel looked like a dormitory---it was so basic looking! The worst value for money in St Charles of the 6 hotels I stayed in! Totally undeserving of a 2-star rating.”

• Not a blooming thing. It was unsafe and I refused to stay there.
• I was nearly carjacked in the fully lit parking lot.

“As I pulled up to the hotel, my car was approached and a thug pounded on my driver¿s side window and attempted to gain entry. I backed out of my spot, approx 5 car lengths from the front entrance, and sped away, terribly frightened and upset.”

• I especially liked the fact that the access to the rooms was open air walk ways and balconies.
• The complementary breakfast was meager.

“The hotel was well situated to everything in town. The room was large and well-lit. The physical layout was like a motel--parking outside the room, open air passages.”

• It was a dump.

“This hotel was terrible. I do not recommend it. It felt dirty. The beds were not comfortable, and the sheets were poor quality. The bathroom fan was incredibly noisy. The bathroom door would not shut. Overall, it was a poor experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.”

• Excellent location and it was convenient.
• Non smoking room, but bathroom stunk horribly of smoke and it drifted into the rest of the room. Very dark as well.

“Average. Good if staying one night only. I wouldn't be able to stay there more than that. Friendly staff. Room was very dark - could use an update on the vanity area. Had refrigerator, microwave which was nice.”
