• The decor is a little bit country for me, but hence the name.

• Exercise facilities.
• Beds need to be updated to compete with Hampton.

“Nice hotel. Unfortunately my room had been smoked in which tainted things. Beds needed to be updated. Nice exercise facilities and indoor pool/spa. Nice continental breakfasts area and staff was professional and friendly. If rooms were nicer I'd pop it up a star.”

• Was perfect for what we needed it for, price, meals, pool etc.
• I really don't have any dislikes about the hotel.

“This hotel was perfect for the price. It was very close to where we did business. We utilized everything offered by the hotel including breakfast, hot tub, and swimming pool. I would stay there again!”

• Complimentary breakfast had nice variety of foods, including different hot entree each morning.
• Bed had old lumpy foam pillows.

“Hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. Pool & fitness area were inviting. Food was good. Staff was smiling and enjoyable to talk to.”

• I liked its location, having a pool, and comp breakfast.
• One of my towels in my room was stained yellow. It was gross. Also, no pay per view not a good thing.

“The room was dry in terms of humidity. Uncomfortable that way. No pay per view. There was a yellow stained towel in my room, but I was too tired to mention it or go through whatever compensation process there could have been because I had to check out really early and didn't discover it until then.”

• The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We thought the hotel surpassed the rating.
• We didn't like that the bathroom had only one sink. The pool was great except too much chlorine.

• The room was attractive. The lobby was very pretty and welcoming. The porch with rocking chairs was a nice touch.
• The spa was not working. Room was described as having a whirlpool. No spa. Best western has a better breakfast!

“It had excellent location. Breakfast was disappointing, as it was described as above average. The spa was broken so I was disappointed. I really liked the lobby as you walk in. The wreaths on the wall in the room were really a nice touch. The room smelled fresh.”

• Nicely decorated spacious room, no 'motel feel'.
• Prefer to have room with fridge/microwave.

“Nice hotel within walking distance of several restaurants and a very short drive to shopping and many more restaurants. A step above your typical budget hotel at a decent price.”

• It is decorated well.
• The air conditioner leaked & floor was wet.

“The staff was very nice and friendly. The motel was not maintained as well as I would expect for that level hotel. A piece of the wallpaper border was loose and hanging down and the floor was wet from the air conditioner which leaked. It took us a while to figure out why the carpet was wet by the air conditioner but we told the staff about it the next morning and they said they would have maintenance look at it. The continental breakfast was far superior to a lot of motels.”

• Clean, pretty room, pool facilities & continental breakfast had extended/convenient hours.
• No fridge in room, no closet (just open hanging space), tons of mosquitoes in hallways!

“Had a quaint feel that was pleasant; other than all the mosquitoes in the hallway, seemed very clean; room was pretty, but had fewer amenities (no fridge, no closet with doors, just open hanging space); good shower head (a key element!) and very comfortable bed (good mattress also extremely important!).”

• Location in the city and close to highways. Poll and hot tub a plus.
• Everything went great! No problems.

“Clean spacious entryway and friendly staff. I had spoken to a lady earlier that day and she remembered that upon check in. She was also helpful in getting towels to the pool area for us.”

“This hotel is in a very convenient location - easy to find and close to shopping and restaurants. Except that they had run out of shower caps, we were very satisfied.”

• The location was good and the staff was friendly. Room was clean.
• Shabby construction, location of our room - on first floor next to outside exit and pool.

“I didn't think that the other reviews of this hotel would be quite as accurate as they were. We were put in a room on the 1st floor - right next to the outside entrance and the pool. Chlorine smell in hallway was pronounced. But the worst part was the morning, the people above us were up and about and it sounded like they were jumping not walking. The floor also squeaked, like there were loose boards. I could not go back to sleep. The breakfast consisted of frozen doughnuts, questionable coffee and toast/cereal. The orange juice was good.”
