• Needs lots of repairs, hole in bathtub.

“On a scale of 1-10 I would grade this motel as 4 or 5. It needs an up grade bad.”

• It was friendly and convenient.
• Smelled like smoke in the room ever time u entered.

“It was ok for a rating 1 motel it was clean but smelled like smoke lights blew when thy turned on.”

• Affordable; clean; convenient to the highway.
• Facilities were older.

“Our experience at roadway inn, Effingham was good - the motel is older, but the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but a decent place to stay when on a road trip.”

• Staff was excellent and accommodating.
• Poor TV reception on very old TV. Terrible shower.

“Nice staff, old room, old TV, poorly maintained tub and shower with hot and cold impossible to regulate. However room appeared to be clean old TV with terrible reception. At the price of TV¿s all motels should have newer models. Front desk staff was great. They have nothing to do with condition motel.”

• Pool and location.
• Room was not what was advertised. 1st room A/C leaked in the room on the floor and the toilet did not flush properly.

“We did not receive the refrigerator or the microwave. We had to change rooms, the first room the A/C leaked all over the floor and toilet did not flush properly. Once we changed rooms the room was OK.”

• Convenient location.
• Room and facility was filthy. Vomit on the carpet, other material on walls and door.

“Our room was filthy and disgusting. Dried vomit or something on the carpet right by the bed, Some kind of liquid thrown against the inside entry door and not even wiped clean by cleaning staff. Some kind of debris on the wall by the bed, equally disgusting. Outside door was very dirty. Internet connection did not work in the room or in the lobby. No one would want their family to stay in a room like this.”
