• Staff was friendly.
• Breakfast very bad, not like it used to be at this place.

“A great, inexpensive place to stay that is close to shopping and restaurants. Friendly staff. Rooms are very clean but some what dated. Breakfast is provided, however, this is in decline from what it was a year ago. Coffee is without a doubt the worst of any hotel or restaurant I have ever visited.”

“I am in Oshkosh a lot for equine shows and we find the LaQuinta an excellent place to stay for our needs.”

• The staff was friendly and pleasant.
• There were other guests that were being loud and slamming doors in the hallway and the rooms next to ours. This was between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.

“It was not a quiet place to stay, the other guests could be heard in the hallways at all hours and the room we stayed in was right next to the parking lot and exit door. It is also located right next to a busy highway entrance and situated next to a busy restaurant. This also made it inconvenient to enter the parking lot of the hotel. Also they were working in the parking lot so it was not possible to park near an entrance or exit. Half of the lot was blocked off. We ended up in a room with one double bed, which was ok, but we were requested a king size bed. The housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating when we asked for extra pillows they brought some immediately. Continental breakfast was ok, but I have had better and more choices at other hotels in the area for about the same cost. The location was convenient for our stay because it was close to our son's home. All in all I would say it was ok, but I would probably not stay there on purpose again.”

“This hotel was not very nice. Everything was very dated. It had no elevator and we had to drag our luggage up a big flight of stairs. There was no computer to use. One of the pillows on my bed really smelled. The single blanket was threadbare and the mattress pad was non existent. I will never stay at a Aquinas again.”

“My first impression opening the room door was icky. The room very basic. There was mold around the heating unit and in the bathroom. The bathroom door was deteriorating at the bottom due to no venting in the bathroom. We requested late check out, but it was not passed on to the other employees. When we returned to check out there was a cleaning girl in our room with the door shut. Why was she there if we weren't checked out yet?”

• Personnel were friendly and helpful.
• Location makes it difficult to get into the parking lot.

“Rooms are a little shabby, but the hotel public spaces are fine. No elevator, although the hotel is two stories. Breakfasts are good, but nothing special. Difficult location - at a very busy intersection, then behind a restaurant, so tricky to get into the parking lot, especially for a first-time visitor.”

• The continental breakfast was excellent.
• We had a non smoking room that had been smoked in.

• Horrible.
• It was dirty disgusting and reeked of smoke.

“I am in the process of working with customer service. We did not stay at the hotel it was dirty and reeked of smoke. It was not in a good location and it looked run down on the outside.”

• Good location.
• Room in poor condition, bed was very uncomfortable.

“This hotel does not reflect other two star hotels I've stayed at. I was placed in a room that was in very poor condition and fronted the highway. The room only had a single full size bed, instead of two, and it was very uncomfortable. Breakfast included no fruit at all.”

• I had a bed to sleep in and a place to shower.
• Very cheaply remodeled. It feels looks nice on the outside but on the inside it looks like someone just came in and remodeled the surface.

“If I can help it, I will not stay at this hotel again. I think it was once a nice hotel under another name. Someone purchased it and remodeled it on the surface to make it look nice, but it is definitely what I would consider an old worn out hotel.”

• A double bed, faulty TV, and tried to bill me twice.

“This place was the worst I have ever stayed in. One double bed. A TV that was too blurry to watch, when I requested a different room they tried to bill me for it. I am still not sure if the double billing is resolved. If you ever put me in a hotel like this again, it will be the last time I use your service.”

• The location was close to the highway.
• Disliked the smell, quality, and service.

“I would not stay in this hotel again. We regularly stay in Laquintas because they are affordable, yet clean and comfortable. This hotel was very rundown and the room smelled of dog. The door did not latch well. We ran out of hot water. The blanket on one of the beds had a cigarette burn.”

• Very clean, free wireless, location good during light traffic periods.
• Location very bad during very heavy traffic periods.

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the la quintal Oshkosh. When I arrived, in the afternoon, crossing traffic to get into the hotel was difficult, but it was rush hour. At other times, getting into and out of the hotel parking lot was relatively easy.”

• Uncomfortable beds, shower was bad, peeling paint, changed the room we were to be in.

“I was very disappointed with my stay there. We were to have a smoking room and they changed it on me and could not accommodate. Extra towels were not available when I requested them. The shower head only had one half that worked. The paint was peeling in the bathroom. It is located right next to a highway and was very noisy. No elevator so I had to carry all of my stuff up stairs. I would never stay there again.”

• Beds have saggy mattresses. There were insects in my room. I had second floor room and some heavy luggage and there is no elevator.

“If you have a lot of luggage that you enjoy carrying up stairs this is a good hotel. Be prepared for a stiff back in the morning.”
