• The bed was wonderful and the room was very Clean, non smoking.
• Kids in Pool.

“This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was so kind and even offered to help us. My Father In Law who is 85 years old was traveling with me and my husband. They were so kind and helpful to him. I only wish that our other hotel experience would have been as good as this one.”

• One of the best continental breakfast I have had and the best hotel staff.
• Nothing.

“The hotel staff was the nicest I have ever had at a hotel and went out of their way to accommodate us. The best continental breakfast I have ever had. And the price that I got it for was quite the bargain; I have paid 3 times more and was disappointed with other hotels.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• Response time was slow.

“I stayed at this hotel because my son had broken his arm and was to undergo surgery. He lives too far to drive back and forth. The hotel was comfortable enough, and there was plenty to eat at the continental breakfast. However, there were some problems. 1. The hot tub/spa was colder than my bathwater. I doubt it was warmer than 85 degrees, though their sign said it could be a max of 104.2. It took three attempts to get a refrigerator and microware in the unit.3. There is a tree out front that dumped tons of gooey droppings all over my car. Two trips through the car wash were not sufficient to get it all off.4. One of the tiles on the bathroom floor came out and cut me on the toe. The floor looked like it had been repaired a few times before it should have been replaced. Would I stay there again, only if it was the random hotel selected? I would not intentionally book the Oshkosh Fairfield Marriott.”

• The staff wasn't very knowledgeable about the areas restaurants.

• Could hear people walking upstairs (creaking floor).

“Good location. Clean comfortable room. Nice pool area with chairs and towels. Very courteous staff. Continental breakfast selection and eating area pleasant. Room a little noisy at times. Overall, a very nice stay.”

• The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
• The rooms smelled really bad and the pool and hot tub were dirty.

“As I said in the questions above, the staff was great, but the hotel itself needs a face lift and a very good cleaning from top to bottom. Running cord over the carpet and covering with tape to the computer in the lobby is and looks very cheap. You can feel cords running under the carpets in the rooms. The rooms have a very bad odor. The hot tub had brown slime floating in it.”

• Looked and felt fairly new. The bathroom was pretty.
• The door had about a 3/4 inch gap where I could see light from hall at night.

“Good place for kids. It was loud (a kids baseball tournament team was staying there). I could hear the people above me walking around every time they moved. Kids running up and down the hall sounded like they were right next to me. The door had a gap so maybe that is why I could hear them like I did. It has a nice breakfast buffet and ample room to sit and eat. Nice, clean and fairly modern.”

• Continental breakfast, fresh cookies & coffee in lobby. Also very clean. Friendly staff.
• No body lotion, only soap & shampoo.

“Comfortable hotel not luxury but nice. Friendly staff. Rooms clean & comfortable. Continental breakfast included hot foods also which is nice and in the afternoon fresh cookies & coffee were available in the lobby as well as free newspaper.”

• Clean. The beds are comfortable, service is polite.
• The breakfast is somewhat lacking, a gym or some exercise area would be nice.

“Overall a comfortable quiet place. Friendly helpful staff. You use to use a different hotel in Oshkosh. The Fairfield is a nice improvement.”

• The location. The night manager very helpful.
• It did not have a gym facility. The whirlpool was poorly maintained.

• Very clean rooms and pool area. Great complimentary breakfast with waffles.
• Requested all non-smoking rooms and was given non-smoking rooms that were obviously smoked in, but problem was fixed.

“Nice place to stay for the price if you are looking for an overnight stay. Clean rooms and courteous staff members. Great complimentary waffle breakfast in the morning.”
