• The friendly staff.
• The pool was broken.

“The hotel staff was friendly but the pool had been out since Friday we arrived on Sunday. The girl on staff the night we arrived said she did not know about the pool it was ice cold and when we checked out they said it had been down since Friday. I choose this hotel because of the pool as I was traveling with my 9 yr old.”

• Clean rooms and facilities; quiet.
• Small rooms; very small beds; limited amenities.

“This location would be an acceptable place for an over night stop while traveling to another destination. Although it was clean and quiet, the room was not especially comfortable. The immediate area has very little to offer in terms of facilities, restaurants, or attractions, although a casino is fairly close. I would recommend traveling 10 more miles down the highway to Paducah. The significantly greater availability of options would more than offset the few extra dollars in cost.”

• Very clean and AC worked.
• Ice machine broke. Staff was very short with customers.

“Overall I am very unhappy with this hotel besides there ice machine broke and morning breakfast was dry cornflakes with warm milk and a toaster that did not work. I am very unhappy with this hotel and will never stay there again.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• The hotel was full of ants.

“The room was nice except for the ant infestation. Was told by front desk it was taken care of but still had an ant problem. Other than that was in a good location.”

• They accommodated our room requirement without fuse.
• Still smoke in the room.

“I really did like the people running and working the hotel very friendly and helpful ready to help their guest as needed, even if they are picky.”

• Liked the breakfast provided by the hotel.
• We were in a smoking room. Preferred non-smoking, but werent asked ahead of time.

“Liked our experience. Next time I'll ask beforehand for a non-smoking room.”

• I liked the hotels proximity to the highway.
• Staff was rude and often downright mean.

“The entire stay I had issues with the hotel. First they were rude during check in, and then the room had stains on the counter, sheets of one bed, and bathroom. Another incident occurred when I was swimming in the pool in the evening and the attendant screamed at me to leave because it was ten and the pool was closed. The rudeness coupled with the fact that no pool closing time was posted lead me to the decision that I will not stay at that hotel again.”

• Pool indoors, walk-in special lower than our rate.

“Towels were cheap, thin. Loved your breakfast. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Wish the pool had been outdoors.”

• The gentleman who checked us out was friendly.

“I have stayed at far better hotels for far less money. The hotel interior (carpeting, drapes, etc.) is shabby and in need of a serious overhaul. For our entire three-day stay (in late May), the indoor "heated" pool was intolerably cold. When I called one of the front desk staff prior to our arrival to confirm the reservation, he answered me in monosyllables (yeah, no, etc.) without much effort at "friendly" customer service. Not the worst experience I've had but not one I can recommend.”
