• The hotel was convenient to Harrah's casino & downtown Metropolis.
• The hotel was ok for what it is.

“The hotel was conveniently located in the center of the city and nearby attractions could be walked to. The TV had a lot of channels (more than cable news stations, i.e. VH1, E channel, etc) unlike some other national chains. The continental breakfast was ok with a nice mix of fruit, cereal, & pastries. Indoor pool was also nice with an attractive skylight. Overall good.”

• The indoor pool. Proximity to Casino. Price.
• Could be updated.

“Friendly Staff. Hallway in back rooms did smell. Pool was great. Our room was clean and the maid had turned on the AC before we arrived, which was wonderful after driving all day.”

• Wireless limited to one computer in room only.

“Our room smelled. Turning up the air conditioner helped a bit. The hot tub had ants crawling around by it and was too hot. The breakfast was okay. I travel a lot, and this wasn't a particularly memorable trip, and I probably wouldn't recommend the hotel.”

• Indoor heated pool, nice convenient continental breakfast, nice Midwestern staff.
• It was cold outside and the heater in the room was noisy, but it warmed the room nicely.

“A nice motel with friendly staff. Convenient to Casino. A good value for the money in the greater Paducah area. Easy access to freeways.”

• Pool was too hot. Breakfast was so-so. No Wi-Fi.

“This was an all right stay. The pool was way too warm. We could not get the Wi-Fi to work. The free breakfast was so. It was a 2-star hotel.”

• The hotel needs a bigger sign. Easy to miss.

“This was a nice, clean hotel that needs to be remodeled. The room was clean but slightly rundown. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Located next door to Harrah's casino in metropolis, IL.
• Poor house keeping staff and odor in part of the motel, smoking rooms were mixed with non-smoking rooms.

“The motel halls were dark and looked dingy. We stayed two nights and the beds were not made and bed spreads stilled laid on the chair where we had left them. There was only one wash cloth and clean towel left for the 2nd day, even though it was apparent that there were at least two people in the room since both beds had been used. We left a jacket in the room when we checked out and called 3 times asking about it, it was left on a rod that is hid when door is open, and there is no sign of it being found. The breakfast area was clean, bright and pleasant.”
