• Messy lobby, long wait answering front desk phone.

“Room was clean, beds were uncomfortable. It took a long time to get a response from front desk over the phone. Maid service was polite.”

• Hotel staff was trying to make the best out of a difficult situation. They were helpful and courteous.
• It is being renovated. There was dust and drop cloths everywhere. There was little or not food for breakfast and nowhere to sit.

“The staff of this hotel was the only redeeming quality. There was almost no food for breakfast and such a small space that you could not sit anywhere. The lobby was covered with drop cloths and there were painters working which just added to the crowded atmosphere. Hopefully the renovations will make this hotel as pleasing as the employees.”

• Had two king beds.
• Dirty room, maid ignored do not disturb sign at 9am, rags for towels.

“Not recommended, rented two adjoining rooms for family, both rooms had wall hairdryers that did not function. Bathroom was not clean. Blankets had cigarette burn holes. Room very hot when entered-no A/C on. Towels were rough as sandpaper. Washcloths were so thin you could see through them. Maids busted in room at 9am ignoring sign on door-did not apologize only said leave door open when we left. We did leave-a day earlier than planned.”

• Convenient for MSU commute, several dinning/take out restaurants as well as convenient stores in nearby area.
• Small bathroom area (bathroom door would scrub against commode causing a little force to be used for the door to close.

“Over-all this hotel met the 2-star expectations rated by the system. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff was very eager to recommend places to eat and site-see. All recommended areas to see were within a mile of the hotel.”

• It was convenience to wherein had to go. It was closed to most of the stores.
• The hotel has an unpleasant smell that got into my clothiers and linger long after I had left the place.

“In essence I would stay at this hotel again for the convenience and the location. I know now that I would have to bring air fresher and fares. The people that work there was very nice and friendly.”
