• The hotel's location was ideal for us.
• The floors could have been cleaner.

“Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. The floors of the room could have stood to have been slightly cleaner, but they were not in any way an inconvenience. This was my second stay in this hotel, and we will be staying again if the opportunity arises.”

• Peaceful and quiet, nice room service ladies.
• Uncomfortable bed, unclean pool, no extra pillows available, comforter design, small TV, leaky refrigerator, faulty light fixtures, smelled funny.

“Upon seeing the hotel I knew it was going to be my first thought: lower class. There was a strange odor in the second floor hallway. The beds were lumpy and thin. They didn't have extra pillows because "people steal them". The light fixtures in our room (326) over the vanity did not work. The freezer ice melted on the coldest setting possible and leaked water on everything. The elevator broke temporarily on Friday the 25th. We requested towels on Friday and ended up have to use hand towels to dry with because all other towels were drying and then they never brought us any. I would say beware of Howard Johnson Hotel.”

• The lobby was nice but as soon as you walked in your room it was awful!
• The rooms smelled of cheap cleaning products and the vents had mold and mildew blowing through them.

“We went to pull the sheets back and found hair in the sheets. There was no food for the breakfast and the rooms smelled awful!”

• Entrance to room was inside so I felt safe.
• Elevator was shaky. I felt uncomfortable in it.

• Easily accessible, great for a couple day stay.
• "Hotel not responsible" signs everywhere (vending machine refunds, car damage, guest property missing from rooms, etc).

• One male clerk helped us when our room key was stolen.
• Very bad housekeeping if any. Did not change sheets, no clean towels, no coffee, did not dump trash.

“I would not recommend this place to anyone. We were told not to use the "guest towels". Forced to make our own bed after they stripped the dirty sheets. We were locked out of our room on 2 separate occasions. This motel is not child-friendly! Complained about rooms condition but would not clean it.”

• They had good breakfast place.
• Restrooms with roaches and room smells.

“The hotel was warming but it was very uncomfortable. The rooms smelled and the bathrooms were very dirty. Everything else was okay.”

• I liked the location, the proximity to the interstate and eating establishments.
• Small parking areas, room extremely small, bed was as hard as the floor (and I'm not exaggerating), awful pillows, cramped spaces overall.

“The parking areas were too small for the larger vehicles. The rooms we saw were very small and the areas in the rooms were small and cramped. Our bed was horrible, the pillows were about 1" thick and the mattress was, seriously, as hard as the floor. I am really not sure it was a mattress at all. We won't stay there again.”

• Air conditioner did not work in the first room I was placed.

“This hotel is in a good location, clean and has a friendly staff. It does not offer allot of amenities, but is a nice place for business travel or leisure stay for someone looking for a good value!”

• Nasty, water didn't work, bugs in bed, didnt clean room at all.

“This was the filthiest hotel I've ever stayed in. When I first checked in my first room had bugs in my bed. The floors were very Nasty and sheets were not clean. Then I was moved to another room were the carpet was very Nasty. I also had to settle for a smaller room. During my stay I was without water for over 5 hours. I or my spouse could not take a shower do to the fact that the water was off. The hotel employees never came to clean my room during my stay. Do to the fact I will never stay at that hotel or refer anyone to it.”
