“Management and staff were very professional and accommodating. Everything was clean, well kept, and in order on that day and on the day of the event. I think many of the complaints you see online about this hotel are out of date and do not reflect the current property or it's management. Our convention goers booked over a hundred rooms at the Biloxi super 8, and every attendee I spoke to found the hotel to be clean, functional, and safe. They also found the staff there helpful and willing to work through any problems that arose. We also had several events at the hotel over the course of a weekend, and yet never noticed any accumulation of trash or litter anywhere on the property. Our governing committee was so impressed by the hotel and its management that we have already decided to have the super 8 as our host hotel again next year.”

“I stayed at this Super 8 while attending a convention in Biloxi, and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, and the property to be very well maintained. I had read the negative reviews on this site before going there, and was very pleasantly surprised to find this hotel to be one of the best super 8's I've ever stayed at. My room was clean and comfortable, the parking lot was safe and well lit, and the pool was a delight. The hotel maintains a free Wi-Fi service for its guests, and the breakfast was well stocked, and even included a waffle bar. If this hotel has had problems in the past, it has definitely rectified them since.”

“The front desk person when I checked in and out was fine (2 diff people). The location is good, since it is directly across from the beach. Aside from the lobby area, the exterior and interior looks run down. Saw some broken beer bottles lying around in walking areas, old broken toys in pool area, dirty pool, exterior needs paint badly, etc. (yes, I am aware of Katrina but there are other cheap hotels that are much better looking) interior, phone in room was in working condition but keys were missing on it, toilet worked but sat unbalanced so every time you sat on it felt like it would topple over, etc. The room was pretty noisy at night since guests tend to gather in the yard with their lawn chairs and party. However, this didn't go on past about 11pm. They offer a continental breakfast which leaves much to be desired. They served cold pancakes & waffles (I think they were previously frozen and just defrosted with butter but no syrup but there was one empty syrup bottle. Not sure of the point since they had so many guests), English muffins (although there were only 2 and they quickly ran out and there wasn't anyone around to clean the area or replenish the food when it ran out), concentrated juice machine, milk & cereal. The tables in the dining area were dirty and some of the chairs had torn cushions.”
