“The indoor pool was not heated. impossible to swim. I would estimate the water temp at 50F. The hot tub was empty. The free breakfast was completely gone (used up) and not replenished by 8 AM. There was a breakfast menu for room service, but when we called, they informed us room service is unavailable until the evening. On top of that, the shower head was broken. I am a business traveler, and must say this was the absolute worst hotel experience of my life. Please learn from us and do not make the same mistake. The only positive thing to report was the comfortable bed - that's it.”

“This hotel was horrible. The only good thing was the bed (very comfortable). But the room size was tiny, smelled weird, and a constant buzz was heard throughout my visit. I could not figure out where it came from.”

“We checked into the room and there was a stuffed toilet with a dump in it. The window was wide open and stunk of chlorine from the indoor pool. When I went back to the front desk and told them about the room, they said they would send someone up. That was at 11:30 a.m. When we returned home later that afternoon it was not taken care of so I dealt with it on my own. Then that evening, the 'so called' housekeeping supervisor called to apologize that they did not get to it "because she was busy". I am also complaining directly to Clarion regarding this stay.”

“This hotel needs new management and a complete new staff of housekeeping. The rooms were filthy and you could not sleep for the constant blaring from the lounge till 2 in the morning. The bathrooms were disgusting and it was an all around miserable stay.”

“Was alright. A converted holiday inn facility. Our room was near an exit and the banging of the door to the outside was a little annoying on Sunday morning. Okay for a college town one-night stop over.”

“We didn't expect much for $60, but it really wasn't bad. There is a big remodel going on so it's kind of a mess. We only slept and showered there (had continental breakfast too). We would stay again it wasn't bad for the price.”

“The hotel room was dark & gloomy. There was construction going on at the hotel and I was awakened at 7:00 AM by some hammering and scraping going on. Shortly after that the smoke detector started chirping every 60 seconds. I was glad to get out of there.”

“We were very disappointed. Hotel was under renovation so the clutter and dust in some areas was understandable, but hallways and stair wells where no work was being done were littered with dirt and debris. Floor in our room was filthy. The bedspreads were badly soiled. And worst of all, the hotel was cold, even in our room where you could control the thermostat. The heater just didn't work properly. We complained early on in our stay, and instead of an apology we were rudely scolded for not bringing things to their attention immediately upon arrival to our room. We complained again upon checkout, and again, no apology. They have a beautiful pool or atrium, but it was just not heated properly, and could not be enjoyed. A miserable experience.”
