• Very comfortable and located in an area where there are many choice of shopping and eating.

“I travelled to Rockford for a funeral. The room was clean. It was designated as a totally smoke-free hotel and I especially liked that. Often, if a smoker has been in the room it feels like they are still there because you can smell the stench of their presence.”

• The fireplace in the lobby.
• No lotion in the bathroom. Wish there was a fan in the bathroom.

“Overall we had a wonderful stay here. There's a nice breakfast buffet and comfy lobby area. My friend had some business work to do, and was able to take advantage of the free Wi-Fi. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, great towels. There's a nice view outside from the pool and hot tub area. Only downsides: no free lotion in the bathroom, and no fan in shower/toilet area.”

• It was very clean, warm, and spoils you when compared to other hotels.
• Was not anything I did not like.

• Comfortable beds, clean, friendly staff.
• Air conditioning unit was loud and rattled, internet was cable not WiFi

“Comfortable hotel right off interstate. Was close to the area I needed to be and convenient. Surprising quiet for location. Beds were comfortable, linens clean.”

• Close to main roads, very clean, comfortable; near restaurants.
• Swimming pool room is painted neon green (pretty minor huh?)

“Nice place - fast check in/out, good parking, near the interstate and restaurants. Room was spacious and well-kept. The courtyard in the middle was very nice - even had a nice gazebo. Pool was clean and well-kept.”

• No free breakfast.

“Didn't know extra blanket was in dresser drawer, not in closet like every other hotel I've ever stayed in! While we were at breakfast in hotel, housekeeper made room up for next guests before we checked out, with our luggage still in room. Hope she came back to replace towels we used after breakfast! Told head of housekeeping at front desk, she didn't seem too concerned about it.”

• The room was large enough and check in was easy.
• Not as nice.

“This hotel was functional for a business trip. The room was big enough and clean enough, but there was no elevator on one end of the hotel where my room was, so I had to pull my luggage up to the second floor by stairs. The hotel seemed a bit dated, not as nice as some of the Marriott Courtyards I've been in. There was no on-screen checkout in the room.”

• Rooms are clean, spacious & comfortable bed.

“Hotel rooms are clean, spacious & comfortable bed. Although in a very busy area (just off of the highway and busy road) the hotel was tucked behind and properly insulated. We did not hear any traffic from our room which had a big window that faced the parking lot.”

• It was centrally located without being too loud or busy.
• The outside courtyard could have been nicer, as it gets warmer out, that would be an incentive to having a balcony/patio off the room.

“From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Upon request, they made sure I was in a room with a king bed and got a microwave and fridge. It was clean, right for the cost, and centrally located. I always rely on Marriotts, and this was no exception.”

• No electric access outside for vehicle heaters in the winter.
