• Close to the is campus
• The floor had been scrubbed with chemicals and was very wet we got a fan to dry it (loud and noisy)

“I was not happy - my son has severe allergies and the room was not acceptable for this type of child”

• It was convenient to what we were doing and fairly clean.
• Continental breakfast was weak! Need more variety.

“It was fairly clean but needs better pillows on bed. Great location. Good hotel for value and overnight stay.”

• Attractive, clean motel in a good location.
• Fire alarm went off for about 15 minutes accidentally. Couldn't be helped.

“We were glad to find out that it was in a good part of town, not like another time we went to Bloomington. They provided a good continental breakfast, and attractive and clean rooms.”

• Good location.
• Very worn down hotel, everything from the rooms, to ice machines that did not work, to the condition of the grounds, landscaping.

“Ok hotel. very run down. room, carpets, ice machines, poor condition of the grounds. Breakfast included was nice. Staff seemed helpful.”

• Helpfulness of staff - going beyond expectations.
• Smell of cigarettes in the hallway.

“Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. Best part for us was that the lobby area had fresh fruit and microwave available. This was great for us as we are on restrictive diets and often prefer not to eat large meals in the evening.”

• The breakfast setup was superb.
• Nothing. There were no problems of any sort with this hotel.

“This was a great place to stay for a quick business trip. The hotel staff was competent and friendly, The breakfast offered a large variety of items and they were more than willing to extend the deadline as needed.”

“The hotel is basic lodging. The refurbished rooms are very nice, but the common areas are dated and worn. Staff is just fair.”

• Complimentary juice, coffee, tea, fruits at lobby 24 hours.
• It's a simple stay overnight hotel, not much to do.

“This is an average small hotel, reasonable price. Room is simple and neat, but not squeaky clean like some other hotels. Room not too bright and only had 2 sets of towels. It has complimentary juice, coffee, tea, fruits 24 hours in the lobby, save me some vending machine money. Free breakfast in lobby daily, but it ends at 9am. It is a very good stay overnight hotel just for sleep.”

• Desk clerk charged the stay to my card.

“Nice stay for a traveler with a good room and good location. Clerk charged the room to my credit card, I had to call to get it reversed.”

• they were able to change our room to first floor as no elevator was available.
• No elevator :-)

• This hotel provided a nice breakfast area, was very clean, staff was friendly and the pool area was also great.
• No elevator. This is a pain if one has much luggage.

“This hotel is neat and clean. No dust in the rooms and the carpet was clean enough that white socks were still white after going sock footed in the room. Hotel was near the I-state, but also on the main road to the university. Several types of bread, juice and cereal for breakfast.”

• It was clean and convenient
• Needed minor fixups and carpeting needed a good cleaning

“I picked a moderate hotel for the area seeing it was not in Chicago, I thought I could get a Marriott or equivalent. The Inn was clean but I was disappointed in the carpeting in the hallways and there was wallpaper coming from the walls. I guess I should have picked a 3 star hotel. ”
