• Desk help was very friendly.
• Said it was non-smoking and my room and everywhere else sure smelled like smoke. And the parking lots was filled with trucks Didn't feel real safe.

“This was fine for a quick overnight stay, but it didn't have any amenities.”

• Personnel was very understanding about the broken bed in our room.
• Uncleanliness of minor details.

“My son went to sit on the bed and it literally fell apart! We contacted the management, and they were very understanding, and promptly gave us another room, to which, by this late hour, the toilet ran all night long, and wasn't about to ask for another room, so we shut the door. The hotel personnel were very friendly, but like I said, no attention to cleaning as I am accustomed to in other hotels that I usually stay in. More attention needs to be observed in this.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• The hotel was old, had an unpleasant odor and the room hadn't been cleaned in a week or more.

“The hotel is fine if you just need a place to sleep, but I found it unkempt and outdated. The second floor had an unpleasant odor. But I want to commend the hotel staff as they were very friendly and made up for the unseemliness of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable.”

• It was close to the highway.
• Not clean or up to normal standards.

“In zero degree temperatures outdoors, my hotel room heater did not work properly. The bathroom had also not been cleaned as there were dirty rags left behind. Lastly, the two of the easily accessible outlets in the room did not work. When I notified the manager, she was very apathetic. I would not return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone else.”

• The wireless internet.

“The wireless internet connection speed fluctuated too much (anywhere from 2 Mbps to 54 Mbps) with most of the time it was around 5. Not what I expected. The air conditioning was adequate, but it had to be cranked up high to stay that way. The staff was very helpful and responded well to our needs as best they could.”

• The location was very convenient to the interstate at to the university.
• The lobby was small.

“This was a very basic hotel, but was great for just an overnight stay. There are few amenities besides the continental breakfast, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep, it will do fine.”
