• The motel was close to shopping.
• The motel was falling apart.

“The room looked clean on the surface, but with a closer look, there was dirt in the corners, and I could not believe that there was a used band-aid on the tub. The motel advertised an outdoor pool, but the pool was half empty, and the water was green. There was only one working ice machine that I could find. The breakfast was minimal, and only opens until 9:30am. The room was cheaper than others in the area, but not worth what I paid.”

• Nothing.
• Unclean, insects crawling, no English speaking employees.

“I would never stay there again. its nothing of what I expected. dirty, insects crawling, old out of date furniture, hotel employees barely speak English. Cost more than the luxury hotels and does not even come close to luxury.”

“First of all when I called to confirm our reservation, I was told we had none. The next day, the motel manager called to say, "yes" he found our reservation. When we arrived at check-in time, our room was not ready. We waited 30 minutes while they "found" a room ready for us. The room was adequately clean - some mold in the bathroom, and the rug looked grungy. Except for the price, we wouldn't stay there again.”

• It was close to the mall as well as the party.
• The workers were rude. The room was small. The room was dirty.

“I think the hotel was convenient but I was not accommodated the way I should have been. I would not stay in that hotel again.”

• I liked the location, it's in center of Carbondale.
• The room had flying bugs and not enough towels.

• Close to main campus of Southern Illinois University.
• Air conditioning unit was too loud, needed repair.

“This location is excellent for lodging close to the main campus of Southern Illinois University. The rooms are basic, but clean. It is also conveniently located close to a major shopping mall, a variety of restaurants, and a major grocery chain. I would recommend this place to any family planning an overnight stay while re-locating their student to Southern Illinois University. The price is meets the quality.”

• The rooms were smelly and broken things in the rooms and on the walls.

“You get less than what you pay for, and you don't pay much. Appears to be independently owned, trying to compete price wise with lots of nearby national chains but can't provide the same quality in upkeep.”
