• The bathroom grout lines were black and that is the best of the hotel room.

“Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I felt like it was something out of a bad dream from the 2 pieces of plywood closets, the black bathroom grout lines, the two full size beds pushed against either side of the room to the guy we heard check in at 2am above us and pounded around for about an hour.”

• The free Continental breakfast was good.
• Hard to figure out how to get to it and the bed was a bit hard for my liking.

“I would recommend this hotel. It's not brand new, but has been well maintained. It has a nice free Continental breakfast, but the chairs in the dining area are miserable. I will use this hotel again if I am in the Madison area.”

• Private with all typical conveniences readily available.
• Not enough close parking.

“If a quiet economical hotel is what you are looking for then this place is exactly what you are looking for. Highly recommend it for the price.”

• Close to an Indian casino within one mile.
• Casual check out procedure and credit card requirement upon check-in.

“This is a cost effective hotel, although it is not glamorous, the accommodations were relatively clean and the bed was comfortable. The Belgian waffles were enjoyed and the convenience of the nearby casino was a plus. The entrance is very tricky and might be considered difficult especially after a long day on the road. For me it meant another couple of miles travel. We would consider staying there again.”

• It had 4 walls.
• Bad shower head, water temp control, few outlets, small ironing board, still uses metal key for room lock.

“It was just enough to get by, but it was barely worth the $. Wouldn't stay there again.”

• Only its location to the city.
• Tiny room, crappy towels, was stinky, felt equal to a Motel.

“The only thing this hotel had going for it was the location to the city of Madison. Other than that it is next to a landfill, the rooms are cramped. The towels are the kind you get in Junior High gym class. The front desk is chaotic and clueless. Other workers I talked to for more towels, seem like I inconvenienced them. The hallway stunk, it felt dirty, and unkempt. I only stayed here because there was nothing anywhere else available, and I felt like I paid way too much for such a crappy place. It was disappointing. I think a Motel 6, or Super 8 would have been nicer.”

• Very old; in East not West Madison as map indicated.

“The furniture and beds were very old as was the bathroom.”
