“This is a hotel features Wireless network & friendly environment. No complainant with such a price like that. I would recommend people to stay in this hotel, if they do travel Madison.”

• Quietness, wireless internet, cleanliness.
• Nothing.

“Great value for the price. This hotel is right on a main street (Washington), but not noisy. Free wireless internet worked nicely. The room was clean and everything worked fine. As a smoking business traveler I stay in hotels very often and this one was perfect for the price.”

• Ugly rooms.

“While spotlessly clean the room was marginally sized and poorly decorated. It reminded me of an old fashioned mobile home with plastic picture frames, shiny paint and vinyl curtains. The public areas were cramped. Staff was friendly.”

• Clean and quiet.
• Because of a bus-load of teens the free breakfast was gone by 7:15am!

• Economical. Predictable. Free newspaper & breakfast.
• No extra amenities.

“This hotel is fine for the money. I was not looking to vacation in the hotel, but to stay in an inexpensive hotel during vacation. The hotel had free ice, free newspapers, laundry service, free continental breakfast. It was quiet enough and well located.”

• The location of the hotel was very convenient for me since it was next to a major highway.
• It's very outdated. The furniture and carpet looked like it was from the 1970's.

“Overall, it's a mediocre hotel that's conveniently located near where I needed to be. It's one of the cheaper hotels around Madison so you can expect to get what you pay for. It was functional, but not exceptional in any way.”

• Construction in lobby.

“Very good hotel for the price. Free Wi-Fi is great. Bathrooms seem very recently updated. Excellent hot water. In-room hairdryer, coffee, fridge is unexpected for price. Very reasonable choice for economy lodging. Some complain of lack of proximity to downtown, campus, etc. but clearly this is trying to be convenient to the interstate, not the city.”

• It had a bed and a shower and a busted coffee maker.
• Bed was about 30 years old and sagging.

“Hotel is bad. It stinks a lot. I could not breathe properly. People are weird at hotel outside. Hotel staff never smiles.”

• Night clerk was terrific and helped us with a minor entry problem. She couldn't have been nicer.
• TV remote didn't work. New batteries didn't help.

• Price, microwave and fridge, food in lobby and location worth stay.
• Exterior unattractive.

“For an economy hotel, it offers what you hope for. It is far less attractive on the outside than it is on the inside. I was clean, equipped for travelers who might stay a while, and efficient.”

• Nice selection for breakfast had roll away cot for child right away.
• The location is somewhat awkward as it is up a steep hill and hard to figure out in the dark.

“The rooms were nice for the price. No complaints. We arrived in the purring rain and it was difficult to see the entrance to the main lobby and then especially difficult to find the side entrance for our room. We were offered a rollaway cot at no extra charge for child. The continental breakfast had a nice selection.”

• I really liked the room that I was in, and the location.
• In the bath tub, the top coating was peeling off.

“Overall the hotel was nice. I was even on the first floor and I could even open the window. I had a problem with parking and the bath tub, but it still was an 8 in my book.”
