“I stayed at this hotel under the name "The Diamondhead Resort" from 4/12/07-4/15/07 along with many other family members and friends who traveled from out of state for my Grandparents 50th anniversary party. All of us had to switch rooms at least once some of us twice. The first room they reserved for my aunt was a room with no beds! There is major renovations going on and about a quarter of the rooms have been renovated all of the rest are damp, moldy, almost all of our rooms had leaking toilets that flooded as well as leaking tubs that also flooded rooms which ruined personal property. Barely any rooms had refrigerators and they were not available upon request. The ice machine was always empty, the pool was not cleaned properly and was not heated neither was the Jacuzzi, the do not disturb signs are a waste of time because the staff repeatedly violated the signs and entered our rooms even after letting management know. The rooms and the atrium were filthy! Not safe for children as there were ladders all over nails, screws, saw dust, etc. After checking out and arriving home all of our credit cards have been charged several times unauthorized under the name of Diamondhead resort and the Ramada Inn which is what the name use to be until the hurricane now its Diamondhead Resort. The hotel staff were very unpleasant! And never seemed to be around when you needed them! Do not waste your money and definitely do not give them your credit card!”

“We stayed he on 2/15/05 When we arrived there was no parking because of the bar that is in the hotel! The noise was so loud you could not think straight much less sleep. There were parties on both sides of our room, our phone did not work, people where in the hall (our door) all night and morning. We only got a few hours of sleep and that was because the air conditioner sounded like a jet taking off and it covered most of the noise going on outside. We has dirty floors and a leaky faucet. We had to call the police from our cell phone to break up the parties , which did not help much(we did not feel safe at all) The people at the front desk where either in the bar or asleep elsewhere. Avoid at all cost!”
