• The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. We felt as though we were the most important guests in the hotel and a fabulous location.

• Very long check in lines!

“I would definitely stay at the Concourse again. The staff was very professional under some trying circumstances. The room (with free wifi) was lovely and very comfortable.”

• Wasn't that impressive.

“It was clean and the staff was friendly but it wasn't much above a really clean Holiday Inn. The pool was small and crowded.”

• Location was fantastic and they had some great entertainment in the lounge.
• Parking was expensive and the staff did not inform me that I could park across the street for 1/4 the price.

“Large upscale hotel that was comfortable even with two large groups meeting there on at the same time. Located 1 block from State St and the Capitol.”

• The service at the front desk was impeccable, even at 1am.
• The bathroom was not entirely clean.

“I was surprised to find what I did at the Concourse. From the moment we were greeted we felt as though the staff cared about their guests. I had a good experience and wish I could have stayed another night.”

• It is located right downtown across the street from the Capital, everything is walking distance!
• I left a note on some empty boxes requesting to save them and they were thrown out.

“This is a great place to stay when you feel like walking around Downtown Madison. You have great shops, places to eat, and sites to see all right out your door! They also have a indoor/heated parking area connected to the hotel.”

• It was quite conveniently located to the places I needed to go.
• It wasn't very handy to grab a quick cup of coffee or snack, but that may have been because there was some work being done.

• Not a city driver/somewhat difficult to find with the one way streets.

• The staff was wonderful, lobby very nice, nice pool, sauna very clean.
• Very small room, outdated bathrooms and slow drain, loud heating system.

“The hotel was in a great location, around the corner from the Capital, state street and tons of eating and drinking establishments. The staff was super friendly and the lobby, pool and exercise room was very clean and nice. The rooms had very soft beds but were very small and the bathrooms were old with a slow drain that bordered on disgusting and despite there photos of the capital view, looking at the situation of the hotel only a few rooms have such a view.”
