“Check in was a very slow and unorganized process. When we got into the room, it stunk horribly of smoke. This is supposed to be a non smoking hotel. I went to open the window to try to air it out and the window was so covered in spiders and webs it closely resembled a Halloween decoration. My son and I counted 28 spiders on the window. The pool and whirlpool area was not very clean. Towels strewn about and floor was dirty. The whirlpool made a horrible growling noise when you turned it on. Also, most of the overhead lights were burned out or completely missing. The workout room looked like it had not been vacuumed in weeks. Not to mention the only piece of working equipment in there was the treadmill. Everything else was "out of order." The only machines in the game room were a soda machine and gum ball machine. I booked this room through the hospital that my son had an appointment at. I scheduled a charter to take us to our appointment. The charter never showed up. I asked for directions at the front desk and was given wrong directions. Was scheduled at the university hospital was given directions to veterans hospital. Do not recommend to anyone to stay in this hotel.”

“The hotel was clean and comfortable and much cheaper than I anticipated. Since it was more than walking distance from where we wanted to be, we were able to use the free shuttle to get back and forth from downtown. All in all, a nice experience.”

“We have stayed in numerous hotels and motels in and around the UW-Madison area over the course of travel soccer and our son's 5 years at the university. This hotel was very reasonably priced compared to many others, and one of the most convenient for the area we were visiting. We did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but the rest of the facility was well kept and quiet despite the high occupancy rate the night we stayed.”

“I have stayed here yearly for over 10 years and never had any problems. Clean, friendly and if you are visiting the University Hospital it has an ideal location. Would recommend to anybody.”

“I travel a great deal for work and have some fairly diverse experiences in hotels. This is a great one. The staff are excellent and the hotel is superb. Can't say enough good things about it, go there and see for yourself.”
