“This is an older hotel near the airport and in a good location for Peoria. The maid service was very good. The food service for breakfast is to be avoided.”

“Terrible. This hotel had busloads of teenagers staying there. It was 11:30 pm and the hallways there were like a dormitory. Doors open, loud music playing, kids running up and down the halls, beer cans in the hallways, kids screaming. I am a business traveler and I had to be moved because of the noise. I was moved to a room right over the lobby, it was so loud. The hotel did not seem to care, I will never stay here again and I have sent a memo to my company to not book anyone there again. I also got a 4:30 am wake up call I did not ask for. This stay was a nightmare.”

“Total disappointment-would not select 3 star accommodations in Peoria. Small room with low ceilings. Put in a room on the first floor with a view of a large dumpster and dilapidated houses. -Felt unsafe- I felt like they gave me the worst room in the place even though there seemed to be very few guests staying there. Mold in the bathroom. Filthy ceiling, carpets dirty & cigarette burns. Thin scratchy sheets. Pool area dirty. Listed as a 3 star hotel-maybe for # of amenities but not for guest experience.”

“Bad area, ambulances / cop sirens all night, toilet ran, something in dis-repair. Hotel was under construction, regular amenities were not avail. Fitness, hot tub etc. morning restaurant buffet breakfast was bad, no fresh fruit, cold scramb eggs, for $9.00-service was good though at breakfast.”

“We walked in and the lobby was in a construction mode, sign on the lobby counter said the hot tub did not work. Staff was good. room was a total let down. The TV worked intermittently, the heater took 2 hours to finally work, if it wasn't for the fireplace-(that actually worked) the room would never have warmed up. A light on the wall fell off as it was being turned on. The bathroom had no towels in it when we arrived and the bath tub had no drain stopper in it for a bath. The carpet was ratty and dirty and the room was very dusty and dirty. Our fun weekend get away was a disaster and we have called the Hotel for a refund.”

“I would not recommend this hotel at this point. We walked in and the entire front area was under construction. There was no floor, no big screen TV; no fireplace. The beds and pillows were horrible.”

“This hotel looks great from the outside, but the inside and especially the rooms are a different story. My room had stains on the carpet and what looked like water damage on the ceiling. I also found a bug crawling on my sheets the first night. The heat in my room was off, and it took about 4 hours to warm the room up as it was below freezing outside. I won't stay there again on any future trips to Peoria, and I think the age and condition of the hotel make it less than the three stars shown.”

“The rooms were not clean. The bathrooms were so small that you could not do anything in there. There was no water pressure at all in the shower. The shower head was so full of lime that the water would barely come out.”

“The hotel is not a 3 star! Elevators are slow, doors need to have some kind of way that a 1 year old can't open it up. The staff was nice and tried to help. Walls are really thin. We were on 3rd floor and could hear music from a party downstairs until midnight.”

“This hotel is not downtown. It borders a residential area. It is an old hotel that could have charm if it was maintained. The carpeting was stained, the upstairs smelled of the gas from the fireplace in the lobby. The tub in the room had hair in it and was the victim of a poor patching job with caulk. Throw in the mold in the tub area and under the sink and it was not a good stay. The exhaust fan did not work. The room had instructions for a sleep number bed yet none existed in my room. The food in the bar was good and large portions, but the wait staff was very distracted. You'd be better off to stay close to the interstate at a newer place. If this is 3 stars, it is 3 on a scale of 1-10.”

“I'm not pleased with the non response to the problem of getting billed a second time from the hotel. I have called twice, left a message each time, and have not gotten a reply yet (3rd day now). Room was fine, not special. Old hotel, but fairly well maintained, except for the elevator. Buffet breakfast was small with not much variety for the price.”

“This is the hotel I chose for my wedding night, and recently we went back for our 1 year anniversary. This is the only choice for a romantic getaway in Peoria. It is really like staying in a castle: gargoyles, fireplace, large antique furniture, stained glass window(s) in each room, excellent service, etc., really promote a special atmosphere. There is even a suit of armor in the turret near the restaurant, which is arguably the best place to eat in town. If you want to go all out for your date, this is a good place to go.”

“Great hotel with pool, restaurants, and late night lounge. Convenient for wedding party celebrations. Overall, friendly staff, but not dying to go out of their way for you. Bad thing: lumpy bed pillows.”

“Seen the movie Sunset Boulevard? This was a premier place as recently as 1997. Now it reminds me of Norma Desmond: A Faded, dangerous beauty. Remnants of a car theft (broken glass) littered the parking lot. The room window was broken. The bathroom was dirty. TV had about 6 channels that came in. We should have stayed at a Motel 6! They tend to be clean and have a TV that works! A truly disappointing experience and realize that I travel for business roughly 25 weeks a year. This facility is not up to Radisson standards.”

“This is not your typical Radisson. It was a very old lodge that got bought by the Radisson. Its very old and smells a little funny. I was there for 2 nights on business. Free internet was great, and the area it was in wasnt too bad, but for the price I dont think I would stay here again.”
