• It's location to the interstate and fast food places for the kids.
• It was clean but the room air conditioner was very loud. We also asked for an extra pillow which they did not have.

“The hotel was clean and hotel staff was friendly. It was a great location for the interstate but nothing to brag about the looks or rooms. It was ok for the money.”

• It was clean and convenient to restaurants and highway.
• The pool was rather small and thus very crowded.

“We were on our way to Chicago and just needed a place to stay for the night while we made our way. The price was just right for our purposes and other than the pool being on the small side (and very crowded because of the size), we were very pleased with our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was walking distance to several restaurant choices. I would certainly recommend it to other families on a budget!”

• Hotel does need some updates but good quality.

• Staff was excellent!
• The items in the room were a little worn but it was clean & comfortable.

“If you are looking for a clean room at budget price, this is a good place to stay. It had a decent breakfast. The area is quiet with close freeway and restaurant access. The staff was excellent. They assisted me with my airline reservations without hesitation and didn't charge anything for the extra service.”

• Overpriced for the age and condition of hotel.

“We have stayed at this hotel several times. There were very few guests compared to the other times. I believe that because the rates were increased travelers will be inclined to stay at another hotel.”

• The bed was superb.
• No refrigerators or microwave in the room.

“Upon arrival you will be greeted by a friendly face at the front desk. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The inside and outside are well maintained and you will feel safe.”

• Close to highway for easy travel.
• Should have been cheaper for the quality that it provided. More business class than 3or4 star.

“Nice location to food and highway. Maintenance could have been allotted better. Light bulbs burned out in room and wall paper was peeling. Continental breakfast was poor offering and added to price that was little high for what the hotel offered. I'd probably stay somewhere nicer for the money next time.”

• When we checked in the clerk was not very happy.

• The pool.
• The bathroom could have used a good cleaning, a putty knife in the corners for the mold belt up & a little bleach.

• The indoor pool & breakfast.
• They didn't seem to have enough food for all the guests.

“During our vacation we stayed at a holiday inn and a Hyatt as well as this Ramada inn. We paid the most for our hotel at this location of any of the three. But they offered the most amenities as part of their package.”

• Room was nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable.
• No elevator.

“It was perfect for our needs. We really needed a couple of beds to crash on for a night's sleep. Room was clean, not fancy, but very economical.”

• The hotel was quiet, convenient to highway and comfortable. Showerhead was excellent!
• A little outdated and pool was not too inviting.

“This was an overnight stay. The beds were comfortable, the hotel was quiet and the showerhead was very nice.”

• Cleanliness ~ we left after the first night and stayed our second night at another hotel.

“Located right off highway, but not by much else (one restaurant in area). We preferred to be closer to other restaurants, stores, etc. Didn't like the charge for roll away bed.”

“The bath room had mold on the ceiling . The security door at the back of the motel did not work properly. I had to close it once by myself. The chairs in the room were loose. If you sit back to hard you didn't know what was going to happen.”

• They served waffles for breakfast.
• It was old and not well kept.

“This hotel was older and not well kept. They only had two breakfast tables in the lobby to eat at and the trash outside the front door piled up all weekend and was never picked up. I don't think they even cleaned the glass on the front door and the lady working the front desk at night had the lobby TV blaring (loud) the kids turned it down and she yelled at them. When you pulled up outside the curtains in most of the rooms were all messed up the air conditioning units outside were all beat up. The owners of this property are not putting any money into this place! Your better off staying at the bay mount across the street.”

• It was easy to find, staff was nice and helpful.
• Cost was too much for the quality.

“This was a nice hotel, however, the price was high for the quality of the place. The pool was clean and the staff was very helpful and nice. The room was clean. I've stayed in much nicer places, with better breakfast offerings for the same amount of money or less.”
