“We would not recommend this hotel and actually chose to check out a day early despite being pre-paid for 2 days and find another hotel for the 2nd night. The beds were ungodly uncomfortable and the pillows were travel size seemingly filled with bags of cotton balls.”

“Upscale, lovely hotel in the heart of downtown Springfield, IL. Hotel is very close to many main attractions and businesses. Restaurants in the area are superb.”

“The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Our overall stay was nice, especially due to the comforting hot tub and pool in the health club facility. Parking at the hotel, however, was expensive and inconvenient. On street parking was more suitable for our needs.”

“We enjoyed our stay there; however, we ate breakfast in the restaurant, and the service was not good. They were very slow. The waiter said he would bring water and didn't. The waittress was not aware of menu changes and didn't bring fruit with what was ordered. When I asked about fruit with my meal, she wasn't aware fruit should come with it. It was listed on the menu with the dish that I ordered. Prices were high for what we ordered. The hotel room was clean. Parking was available next to the hotel and parking fees were reasonable.”

“My husband and I were on our honeymoon and the room service staff did everything they could to make our weekend enjoyable. We ordered cheesecake and they put hearts all around the plate.”

“The staff was helpful. The bed was nice to sleep on. I did not like the temperature of the room. It did not seem to get cool enough for me. It seemed as if the room had not been used for a while because the phone was unplugged and the room was stuffy when I first entered. Self parking was difficult to navigate. The hotel's location was centralized and allowed me easy access to my training site.”

“This was a nice enough hotel. It had a pool, but I wouldn't recommend swimming. The high chlorine level destroyed my son's suit. Good thing he didn't go in the hot tub, his suit would have dissolved completely.”

“Parking garage under construction, so we used public parking in the next block which was conveniently reached through the Hilton across the street. Furniture very old in the room. It looks like they may be refurbishing as we saw a delivery of a lot of new mattresses.”
