• Nice location.
• Poor management.

“Lacks the amenities such as safety bars in the bathroom. Management failed to promptly resolve the telephone problem existent at the motel, took more than 12 hours before it was finally normal. The motel is located in a nice location close to major shopping and restaurant establishments.”

• The pool area was very clean and well kept. Also, the room was extremely nice.
• Breakfast area too small and no flavored coffee or creamer.

“This met our requirements perfectly. We come down to stay while visiting our children and grandchildren. The grandchildren enjoy swimming with Grandma. The rooms are large enough that they can visit without feeling like you are in a bedroom. Thank you.”

• Extremely comfortable beds. Decent continental breakfast.
• A little on the dusty side. The TV had a ring wipe with all the dust in the middle. Were else did they miss?

“Overall a pleasant stay. The hotel is not too old looking, only a few things outdated. Clean although they missed a few spots. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is out of the way of the city center but easily accessible and not too far away. Close to shopping and restaurants. The continental breakfast was average but convenient. We wish we could have used the pool but we lacked the time. We had stayed at a few other places in the area in the past and this is one of the better ones.”

• Clean rooms, nice bathrooms, good breakfast, friendly staff
• Would have liked the pool to have been larger and with a 3 ft section for children

“The hotel was located with a shopping center across the access road (unbusy) with some major stores and a nice variety of others. There was a restaurant next door and others down the road. It was a good location and the hotel was very clean with a friendly staff and a good breakfast that would satisfy everyone.”

“Fairfield Inn, Springfield IL was an excellent hotel at which to stay overnight. First, it was clean. Second, the staff was friendly. Third, the room was laid out nicely and all the furnishings, including the bathroom, were in good shape. Fourth, it had vending and a pool for relaxing in. I would recommend it.”
