• No comment.

• The rooms were quite spacious.
• We had two rooms. We had to wait more than a half hour for one to be cleaned.

“Surprisingly attractive with large rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem that we had was that upon arrival in the afternoon, we had to wait for the second room to be cleaned. It took more than thirty minutes.”

• Gruff desk staff and obvious security/crime concerns.

“Memphis has some issues with hotel guest safety, and these played out in front of us. Some of the bigger establishments have invested in extremely expensive fence/gates/security details, in an apparent attempt to either prevent problems or reassure the nervous. Smaller properties let you feel the local vibe, whether you want to or not.”

• It was comfortable and quiet.
• It was pretty far from the city and attractions.

“The hotel was about what I expected when I knew the name of the hotel and price range. It was comfortable and nice, but not fancy. It was in a "community" of hotels and was easy to find. However, it was a fairly long distance from the city and the attractions. I felt very safe at this location.”

• Check in was easy room was roomy and clean.
• I checked in late and by shortly after 8:00 am, housekeeping was at the door.

“This hotel is especially easy on the road weary traveler. From check in to check out, the staff is prepared and pleasant.”

• Better than expected. Hotel room was clean and roomy.
• Hotel dining was expensive so only ate there once.

• It was very clean and appeared to be newly renovated.
• You had to drive to restaurants and stores.

“This is a very nice, clean hotel. While there are no services on the premises, it is a short driving distance to stores, restaurants, and a cheap movie theater. It is also convenient to the airport.”

• The housekeepers respected our privacy and hung fresh towels on the door.
• The mattress was a little too soft.

“Staff could have been friendlier even though they were not rude. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room which was a surprise since it is included in what are identified as lesser motels.”

• The front desk person was not very friendly or helpful on the day we left.

• They were friendly and tried to be helpful at all times.
• There was some noise next door after midnight but the hotel put a stop to it.

“This is a good hotel but the neighborhood after dark is not the best in the city. The hotel was conscience of safety of their guests. The room was clean and well cared for. I'd stay there again. The first night there was some noise in the room next door but a call to the desk put a stop to it. The hotel seemed very concerned with making sure their customers were treated properly. It was on a corner of a business park.”

• All Marriotts went non smoking and that is an inconvenience.
