• I loved the Continental breakfast that was complimentary.
• Nothing . It was great.

“My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Marriot Residence Inn. We thought the we received a wonderful deal for what we paid. We would happily stay there again.”

• I enjoy the complimentary meals and personal touch you get from the employees.
• I can not think of anything I did not like about Residence Hotel.

• The Hotel is right behind railroad tracks.

“This was a terrible experience. The trains were running all night. I couldn't get a good night sleep. The furniture was worn out and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I would remove it from your system or you can expect other un happy customers.”

• The price corresponded to the quality of the hotel.
• The hotel looked in need of renovation badly. The bathroom smelled of mildew.

• The continental breakfast was excellent and the kids enjoyed the basketball court.
• Being close to the laundry room

“The residence inn is located in an excellent location. Keep up the good work on the breakfast selection. The room in which I stayed was very appealing.”

• The hotel was very accessible to eating facilities, banks and the place where we were conducting our business.
• I do not have anything to say negative about this hotel.

• Wonderful staff, great accommodations, nice breakfast.
• Horribly located next to a railroad track. We were in for downtown event and thought this would have been much closer than it was.

“As stated, the staff and the accommodations were wonderful. We were in town for events downtown and thought the hotel would have been much closer to downtown that it was. We failed to Map quest directions but hotel is so poorly located we had to call and get directions. The main problem we encountered was that the hotel is located adjacent to a railroad track. Other that that, if you're planning on being in the Germantown area, this is definitely the place to stay.”

• Good location and convenient to shopping and other attractions
• Rooms were not clean, several vehicles including ours was broke into, poor continental breakfast

“The hotel location was in a good place, however the cleaniness of the hotel was a turn off. A stinch was in the room the entire weekend and smelt like the tennants before us had gotten sick on the floor. The first night several cars were broke into including ours. The hotel staff was of little help when we reported the break-ins.”

• We found the staff to be professional and courteous.

“The Residence Inn Memphis East is located in an area of the east side of Memphis convenient for someone with business in that part of town. I had no complaints with the heating/cooling, hot water or general cleanliness of the room. The carpet did not look great in my room but the floor felt clean.There is a train track nearby the hotel. I did not hear the train all night. I assume that noise buffering was built in at construction.I'd say the hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the Beale Street entertainment district.The complimentary breakfast was the usual hotel fare of sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit juice, coffee, fruit and bread served on a buffet line.”

• right next to train tracks! Did not sleep one wink, and it was for our first anniversary.

“This hotel is in a horrible location. I literally have never been closer to a moving freight train. Did not sleep at all as a train went by many times throughout the night.”

• honestly, there was not much to recommend about the hotel.
• residence hotels are completely inappropriate for people seeking one night's stay.

“The Residence Inn had one queen bed and one pull-out couch, which was dreadfully uncomfortable. This made the room completely inadequate for two people to share for one night. We had no need for the kitchenette or other long-term ammenities. Perhaps you shouldn't include residence hotels in your one-night-stay options. We had tried to book a two and a half star hotel. This seemed so far below par. The pool was dirty. The breakfast was standard, at best. But most importantly, the room was drab, smelled of cigarette smoke and was right on the train tracks--the trains passing by kept us up all night.”

• Very friendly & helpful. Ideal location for my business.
• They had to send me to another hotel the 1st night because they overbooked the hotel.

“Other than giving away my room to someone else the first night, even though I had prepaid, they were very apologetic and found me a hotel nearby and paid for my room. Very nice location with lots of restaurants nearby. Off the main highway so it was relatively quiet. Room was spacious and clean. I'll definitely try to stay here on my next trip.”
