• Good breakfast area, extended continental breakfast was good.
• The first time I've ever entered a dirty hotel room, but they made it up to us kindly.

“We arrived at about 9pm local time, and headed to our room. Upon entering, we discovered that it hadn't been cleaned. We headed back to the desk, and after checking, the attendant determined that there were no more King rooms, so she upgraded us to the King suite. The attendant was highly professional, courteous, etc. The customer service was appreciated, especially in these times of extreme lack in customer service.”

• it was close to everything that i needed to get to

• The price
• The location is not real secure

“Late check-in was easy. The first room I was sent to had a continuously running and non-functioning toilet and the second room the air conditioning unit did not power up at all. The AC problem was fixed by my return on day 2 and the staff was very pleasant. While the exterior is not up to the same standards as most Baymonts, the interior was fairly well kept. Not a bad stay if you want to save money.”

• the beds and shower
• the fitness room needs better/more equipment

“My fiancee and I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and were greatly surprised that it was MUCH better than the Doubletree which is supposedly a 3-star hotel.”

• I was not satisfied with the first room I was given, so the hotel staff changed it without any problems
• It is an older hotel, and in need of a bit of a facelift.

“This was my second stay in this hotel, and I really did feel like I was at home. The hotel staff remembered me, and were very kind to me. I liked the fact that I was treated so nicely. I would stay there again anytime.”

• It was near all the things I needed to see and do. The staff were all VERY friendly.
• I really cannot complain about anything.

• I have zero good to tell.
• The room was dirty, the toilet overflowed, and there was heavy smoke odor in a non-smoking room.

“If this was a 2 star hotel, I would hate to see a 1 star hotel. This place was crappy. The toilet overflowed after one flash and the front disk response was "I guess they didn't fix the problem." The non-smoking room had a heavy smoke odor, and the bathroom was poorly cleaned.”

• The front dest person was very friendly and helpful.
• A hot water shortage the first morning was uncomfortable for a shower.

“This hotel provided every thing needed for a brief stay in Memphis. The staff provided a friendly atmosphere. Security was apparently good for there were no unruly guests causing any problems. We have stayed also at the Holiday Inn Express down the street. We enjoyed our stay at the Baymont some better.”
