Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[5]

  • Very clean!
  • Rooms esp. bathroom really small.

“Enjoyed our stay. For families with more than 2 children, don't plan on staying more than one night. Just not enough room in the room itself!”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The room was impeccable. Spotless bathroom; I actually had a bath.
  • Parking is expensive.

“Wonderful hotel. The service was excellent, very easy to check-in and check-out.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[10] • Location:[6]

  • The staff tried to ensure that not only was our stay with them great but were also very helpful with other areas of our trip.
  • The carpets were in need of cleaning and there was a musty smell in the room that no amount of Lysol spray could eliminate. Probably due to Katrina.

“I loved this place even with the musty smell. It was the staff that made every minute there fun.”

  • Convenient Location within the price range.
  • Attractive from outside but needs renovation.

“The hotel may have been affected by water damage from hurricane Katrina. Since then it appears to have been renovated but inside living floors needs major carpet and other facility (including in-room) renovation. Enjoyed its location and its free continental breakfast.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Clean, nice, roomy, very nice staff, comfortable beds.
  • We had a smoking room and it was on the eighth floor but there was no ventilation so it smelled like smoke really bad.

“We really liked the room but we smoke so we had a smoking room and there was no ventilation to get rid of the smoke.”

“Well kept, neat and overall, high quality hotel. Location was a bit isolated, not much nearby except fast food restaurants. But access to the city and other shopping areas was pretty easy by highway (5 to 15 minutes). Staff could have been more friendly/helpful. I arrived late and was meeting my partner there. Not only did they not allow him to enter the room ahead of me (which I expected), they did not invite him to wait inside the hotel for me. And when I arrived enquired as to whether or not someone had asked if I had checked in or not, I was told no. Even though my partner was sitting outside in his car, waiting for me! When checking in, I was not asked if I wanted a room with a single or double bed. I was given a room with two full size beds which were not very comfortable for us to share. Further, the housekeeping staff much have been allowed to leave early on Thanksgiving day. While we were still in our room, we had a do not disturb sign on our door. We left the room at about 11am and removed the sign. We came back to the room several hours later and found our room unmade and no fresh towels! It would have been nice to have been made aware upon checking in that there would be a change in the typical routine for the cleaning staff. We would have planned our day differently.”

“The room I got was so heavily laden with smoke I had to stuff fabric sheets in the a/c unit so I could breath when I got back to the room. Also, only one elevator worked on this 8 story hotel and the other would not stop on the 4th. I had to get off on the 3rd and walk up stairs to my room. Also one of the stair exits were blocked where you could not go outside the hotel from the exit. Isn't that a Fire hazard or violation?”
