“Low wattage lighting throughout. Had to move to another room because AC was not operating correctly. Moved across from ice machine.”

“We were unhappy with our stay there. The tub was not clean. When we asked for extra blankets, there wasn't one extra one in the hotel, so they finally took one out of a clean room. We enjoyed the microwave, but since it wasn't plugged in, we had to move furniture to find a place to plug it in. At least we were there just to sleep and get back on the road. The person who registered us was very friendly and professional.”

“I really didn't like that house keeping was knocking on the door at 8:30am. This was not expectable.”

“It was close to Graceland. The airplane sounds were muffled tremendously - couldn't even hear them. The front desk and driver back & forth were awesome. That area is depressed, but I would stay there again.”

“Over all it was a good experience. Mostly due to the staff being friendly and helpful. It was convenient to the expressway to get where we wanted to go. My only real complaints were the cleanliness and the airplane noise during the night.”

“This was suppose to be a 3 star. I would say 1.5 stars at best. The staff was friendly, but cleaning staff does not get high marks. I asked for a non-smoking room, but the room reeked of smoke and the phone didn't work. Front desk gave me a puzzled look and got me another room. No smoke smell but hair dryer didn't work and the battery was literally hanging out the back of the clock radio that didn't work. These rooms need to be inspected by someone who cares. Thank goodness it was for a quick nights sleep.”

“Never again! This was a horrifying experience. It smelled and we found bugs in the beds. They changed our room, but it still made it an unpleasant experience. It is not worth 3 stars!”

“This hotel will probably be nice once they finish with renovations. It would have just been nice to know since I am not elderly I should not be comfortable in a nice room without spiders where things actually work.”

“Hotel is OK, but the location, apparently at the end of the runway, made it so that every plane taking off at 3 in the morning was like it was inside of the room. And there were a lot of plane taking off.”

“Enjoyed my stay celebrating an anniversary with my wife. The staff was friendly and accommodating to make it special for us. The room was nice and comfortable, but the view out of the window was of a cyclone fence and black top; landscaping is probably needed. Overall I recommend this as a friendly and relaxing place to stay.”

“Do not stay here! We had the worst experience of any hotel. We had a dirty room, coffee stains from a previous guest, no TV remote, no hot water, and our keys expired twice and so we were locked out, the restaurant breakfast was cold and took too long. The worst part was getting charged twice for the stay which caused our bank account to go in the negative. It took several hours to fix and the manager refused to come out and speak with us delegating it to a subordinate. The desk clerks were friendly but the new management sign out front needs to become current again. There was paint chipping everywhere, tiles separating, etc. Necessitating major renovations. It is in a convenient location to the airport but a bad part of town.”

“This hotel was convenient to Graceland and that was all. We parked on the side of the hotel which was closer to our room and we had to go to the front desk because our card keys would not work. When we turned on the heat the smell was so bad, I was afraid the room was going to catch on fire. Also the room had zero humidity. Our noses felt like they were on fire and we woke with sore throats. When we parked in the front of the hotel (because we were afraid our card keys would not work again) a homeless man approached us and we had to wait in the locked car until he left. This was not a good experience. I could not believe I paid 188.00 for a two night miserable stay. Also we had decided that we would only stay one night since the rooms were so nasty. Also by mistake when checking out I was given a bill for 148.00 for our two night stay. It was a shabby hotel in a shabby part of town. We did not even have pay per view. And that would just about sum up my stay.”

“The room stink, and staff was rude. The room had cigarette burns. The rooms did appear clean, but this is hardly a three star hotel. There were far nicer hotels in this immediate area of which were higher standards. I do not think that this hotel. The Clarion meets up with the expectations of this chain. ”
