• The room was very nice and they had Starbucks coffee available in the lobby in the mornings.

“This is a beautifully upgraded hotel and the Starbucks coffee in the lobby in the morning was terrific.”

• The staff was excellent, and the room was wonderful.
• I didn't get to stay long enough.

“My entire experience was great, the staff checking us in was wonderful - very accommodating and friendly. The room was plush and cushy, the bedding so inviting and comfortable. The bathroom was great, over sized with thick, rich towels. The only bad part was that I was only there for one night!”

• Clean, great bed and shower, great travel sized toiletries.
• No breakfast.

• Rooms & public spaces have just been redone.

“I have stayed here many times when it was a Holiday Inn. Double tree has upgraded all of the public spaces and, at least, the room I stayed in. Beautiful job. Excellent value for the bid that they accepted. I will stay here every time for that price.”

• Beautiful decor, quiet, great bed and bedding.
• The prices at the restaurant were way too expensive and nothing moderately priced.

“Beautiful room and pristine pool. It was under renovation some of the elevators and back entrances were a mess. But no complaints on the cleanliness of the room and smart high etc looking lobby. Wonderfully quiet. Great stay.”

• The hotel restaurant was very romantic and classy.
• It was an old Holiday Inn under construction. It would have been nice to know that.

“We weren't sure what to expect. Although it was under construction, our room was very nice. We slept comfortably. The hotel restaurant was classy and romantic. I am sure when the remodeling is done, it will be an outstanding hotel. We will stay there again should the situation arise.”

• It is in a convenient location.
• It was under major construction during my stay.

“This is the former Holiday Inn Collinsville. It is under major renovation of the lobby and most public areas. The pool and Porters restaurant are still open. The rooms appear to be under some repair at least, as the different wings of the hotel were closed. It is a nicer hotel for the area when not under this much construction.”
