  • Near inter state highway.
  • Bathroom light switch impossible to find.

“Very basic suite-type motel. Room was clean. Staff was friendly.”

  • Staff friendly & helpful. Problem with toilet, staff could not fix; gave a better room-no extra charge.
  • Biscuits/gravy at breakfast.

“Hotel clean. I used to be in housekeeping and know what to look for in cleanliness. Sometimes this can be unfortunate as at times I see things I don't want to see. This hotel was excellent for our needs. It was clean and staff was friendly and helpful and tried hard and succeeded in caring for their guest.”

  • Changed room location - desk clerk very helpful. Fairly good breakfast.
  • Very worn. Halls reeked of smoke.

“This hotel was in a good location and there was basically no freeway noise but it was almost seedy. Very worn. The shower curtain rod was not installed properly or was coming loose-it was one of the curved ones and the shower curtain slid from both ends and collected in the center 18 inches of the rod so water went everywhere. I had a no smoking room but a smoking room was right next to me and I could smell whiffs of smoke every now and then. The halls literally reeked of cigarette smoke! The desk clerk was very nice and helpful and I had no trouble moving from the first floor room originally assigned to one on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was better than in the other Quality Inn we stayed at in Knoxville. I will not stay in a Quality Inn again.”

  • Leaving the next morning.
  • The cigarette smoke coming in my room in the middle of the night and morning.

  • The staff was very friendly and helpful about finding things to do with children.
  • Numerous things didn't work in the room and the room wasn't as described.

“The staff was exceptionally friendly, however the room was supposed to be a suite with 2 rooms. One room was as large as a walk in closet with a loveseat in it, a fridge and a TV, the other TV in the other room didn't work the entire time we were there. The coffee maker didn't work, our keys to our room worked at getting us inside for about half the stay, the laundry room was also out of order the entire time we were there. breakfast was fine and kid friendly.”

  • They had free wireless internet.
  • The staff acted as if they would rather be undergoing a root canal than being behind the front desk. Also, see below.

“The front desk person, although not rude, certainly did not exert any extra energy to make our first impression of the hotel a pleasant one. We proceeded to the room and to our shock, there was a newspaper and mail on the desk, the bed was not made and there were used towels on the floor. I made the journey back downstairs, and Ms. Sunshine did not offer an apology her response was "Oh I guess housekeeping missed that room." The second room was fine. However, after being out that night we forgot the room #, I asked at the front desk that was now being occupied by an equally non helpful person and he said our room was 322. My key didn't work after numerous attempts. So, back to the front desk I go. He insisted we were in 322. I literally had to start at one end of the hall and try my key in every slot. Finally I found it. We were in 305. However, the icing on the cake was when I checked out. He said if I had went through Quality.com I would have received the rate on the printed receipt. Since I had already signed it, he simply took the receipt from me, tore off my signature and gave me the rest of the receipt. I suppose to indicate that I had not agreed to the lower rate, because there was not a signature. What an experience.”

  • Our room was definitely not satisfactory.

“This is a review of our handicapped room: Towels were skimpy & like sandpaper. The bedspread had a blood spot on the underside. Unacceptable. Definite lack of space in bathroom to set things. We are not handicapped & it was a most annoying inconvenience - I would think even more so for someone who is handicapped. There was no light of any kind near the desk. There was no light anywhere near the easy chair. There was no light at all on the one side of the bed. All of the above half of the room was without a light. Ridiculous!”

  • This hotel had the finest continental breakfast we ever had, most choices .
  • It had a fire alarm go accident but are glad they had them.

“Great hotel, great location for our stay, great breakfast, clean rooms .”
