• It was easy to get around. Good parking.
• The bathroom faucet didn't flow very well.

“The hotel overall was OK in price compared to other hotels in the same area. I was somewhat disappointed with the general condition of the room. The toilet didn't flush well at all and the bathroom sink faucet didn't have good water flow.”

• It seemed like everything was broken: bed, TV, faucet, table etc.

“The ball park is right across the street from it so you get all that noise. If you are a germ a phobia you would have a heart attack here. This place seemed very run down. The elevator smelled bad. The shower head came up as high as my shoulders, rinsing the hair was a struggle. The air conditioner was on high and it never seemed to get cool enough. The sink didn't drain well. And there was a roach. I think the next time I stay in Memphis I will definitely spend more money for a decent place.”

• The location was unbeatable

• Location was perfect to walk downtown district.
• Very old and outdated decor. Needs renovations desperately.

“Staff is courteous and nice. The best price for the location. Needs to be cleaned up and updated. The rooms seemed clean but because of the condition of the hotel and rooms, it looked rundown.”

• Location.
• Everything besides location and some employees were great.

“We saw in several rooms and they were all practically the same; dirty and old, the walls were that white chipped pant look like an old dorm room, it appeared the rooms were never actually totally cleaned, just looked over and spot cleaned for appearance.”

• It's only two blocks from the FedEx Fourm and Beale Street.
• Rooms have the feel of a motel. Smoking rooms were unavailable.

“All in all, this hotel was nice. Although the rooms felt more like motel rooms. It is very conveniently located near all the Dowtown Memphis area attractions. Parking could at least be free for guests.”

• The people were the best! Kind and courteous.
• The shower! and no balcony.

“Just right for what we needed! Close to the venue and a good night sleep. Fairly clean all around. Need to work on the Bathrooms. Seemed safe in a town that is dangerous! They over all rocked!”

• It was an excellent location- close to everything I wanted to see.
• The room service was poor.

“This is a great place to stay if you're just looking for a bed and shower, but don't expect much else. The TV didn't work, the wall sockets were falling out, and the carpets were stained. They did have wireless internet that came in handy. Great location, close to everything. They did have security in the front lobby late at night. Overall, not so bad, just don't expect much and you will be satisfied. If you go across the street to the Peabody, you'll spend 5 times as much.”

• Tiles in bathroom looked terrible, needs a big update, parking scary.

• Hotel was old fashioned for the price. Room was vary rough.

“Location was great. Room was not so great. I probably wouldn't stay there for the price. I would go across the street to the Peabody. Only a few dollars more and better rooms.”
