  • Wonderful staff!
  • Room could be larger for the price, but well worth it.

“One of my favorite hotels to stay at. Awesome staff, location, food and drink.”

  • Fabulous hotel lobby with bar-family can sit and enjoy themselves.
  • I loved everything about the hotel.

“Upon arrival, my room was upgraded to 2 double beds at no extra charge. I was also given free parking and internet access. I will definitely stay again!”

  • Need coffee pot in room and Ref.

“Beautiful place to stay and short distance to many places to eat. Parking no problem in parking garage and easy to get out.”

  • They have the most wonderful desserts in the deli/dessert shop
  • The unexpected daily service charge and parking charge. Together they were $26.00 per day.

“The historic aspect of this hotel makes it a must see, but in the future we will choose a newer 4 star hotel. Our room was small with a queen size bed. I am guessing that they gave us a small room because we got such a good price, which wasn't so good once they added in the extra charges mentioned above. We we're also, disappointed that they did not have computer with free internet service for guests.”

  • Location.
  • Small bathroom.

“Charged $9.95 for coffee to your room whether or not you wanted it or not. Small room for the price.”

  • Historic, very plush.

“The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The room was spacious and we loved it. My only poor experience was with room service. It showed up over 30 minutes later than the time promised. It wasn't a huge deal, however.”

“Excellent service. Initial room assignment was unsatisfactory, but a room upgrade, at no charge, was offered and results were excellent.”

  • Very clean, and great location.
  • Had to pay almost $20 to self-park at a hotel!

“Clean and comfortable rooms. Great atmosphere. Should have had a refrigerator in room for the price.”

  • Atmosphere and convenience.
  • No coffee/tee facilities in bedroom - compulsory 9$ per night charges.

“Hotel was conveniently situated. Rooms clean and comfortable, but bathrooms were
very small.”

  • Great location.
  • Not clean, rude front desk staff not helpful.

“We had 3 cockroaches in out bathroom on May 3 from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. we were told we are in the south that happens, sent a person with raid up to the room to spray and remove the cockroach from the floor, they took $80.00 of the bill, which was like excuse me, and complimentary breakfast, which I was nauseated and couldn't eat it.”

  • The Duty Manager did everything she could to address our concerns.
  • Having to pay an Hotel service fee to use the swimming pool.

“We were met with a very business like reception, rather than a warm welcome. It is a beautiful hotel but just short of perfection in several areas. Our standard double room only had one armchair and although we asked for another, we never received one. The duty Manager was very helpful and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The Capriccio Grill was wonderful and the food excellent. The bedrooms are a little tired looking and you cannot see out of the windows due to condensation between the double glazing, which was a shame as we had chosen the 11th floor so we could see the views over Chicago. It is central to Beale Street, with plenty of attractions close by.”

  • The overall feel was very good, lobby was very nice.
  • The bathroom would barely accommodate one person.

“The staff was first rate. Very attentive and helpful. Restaurants were excellent, location is very good. I think the rooms are rather small and overpriced.”

  • The location, the history, the ducks and the Sunday brunch are fantastic.
  • No queen sized beds, extremely cramped bathrooms and the noise are a detriment.

“The hotel is beautiful and in a great location for nightlife, shopping, and eating. The rooms are large but they don't offer queen sized beds. We had a child with us and had to get two double beds which we are not used to sleeping on. The mattresses are comfortable though. The bathrooms are very cramped and not that clean. We found that it was a noisy hotel and could hear sounds from outside and from other rooms and pipes. The ducks in the fountain are great as is the gorgeous old lobby. The Sunday brunch is to die for. I think any tourist who has never been to Memphis should stay there once, but for those who go often it is extremely over priced for the quality of the room, in particular the bathroom.”

  • The Peabody was fantastic! Everything was top notch.
  • Nothing.

“The Peabody has world class service, we arrived very early in the morning and they were able to accommodate an early check in. The ambiance was fantastic, and the room was immaculate.”

  • Clean rooms with comfy duvets.
  • While the rooms were very clean, some of the "antique" furniture was a little too dingy for me.

“The rooms were clean and well-stocked. The staff were friendly, but they lost our bags for a few hours. The Peabody is located walking distance from Beale Street, and we took advantage of $21 valet parking, so we wouldn't have to worry about driving while tipsy. The fitness center was awesome - the staff member on duty brought us water when we needed it. The machines were in fairly good shape, and the free weights looked great.”

  • Decor and staff
  • Can get pretty expensive

“This hotel is a First-Class place, although they still cater to the 'little' guy/gal. One can dress to the hilt, or come in casual and still feel at home! The Director goes the added mile to make people feel cared about and happy! The Friday after Thanksgiving is totally Magical with the entertainment in the Lobby! We had a surprise birthday in their Restaurant and the Staff went out of their way to make it truly exciting! We rented a shuttle for the 9 of us, and the driver went out of his way over and over to give us a good time. Best hotel anywhere!!!”
