• Close to Beale Street.
• Limited parking.

“Hotel was AMAZING. I wish you didn't have to valet your car though, that's the only thing that took forever.”

• The front desk clerk at the Sleep Inn in Memphis made our visit above average. Very charismatic and full of information!
• The rest of the staff seemed uncaring and not very welcoming.

“The front desk clerk at the Sleep Inn in Memphis on front street was the best asset to the hotel. We enjoyed watching the trolley outside of our hotel room window; however, they were loud, but didn't run past 11:30 PM or 12 AM. It was nice to watch people out of the window. Close to Beale St. and entertainment.”

• The location was good. It was great to have cable car access right outside.
• The room was small and expensive, and the bathroom was tiny.

“Despite its small size, the room was clean and sufficient. Because it was a concert weekend, it was the best value for such a convenient location. We had to park at another hotel because the small lot was full. No other problems. Overall, our stay was a good experience.”

“Right next to the trolley, and perfectly adequate as a place to sleep Downtown. Neither met all of my needs and neither exceeded nor fell short of my expectations.”

• Right on the trolley stop!
• Kind of 80s but reasonable and clean.

“It's a bit hard to find but so worth it. It is exactly where I will stay for my next trip. The best kept secret is the trolley stops right behind the hotel and you can ride it to Beale Street, restaurants, etc. It was the perfect location for us since we were going to Beale and Spindini Restaurant. Nice park to overlook or if you are lucky and face the river, you could have an awesome view. I was very pleased with my choice.”

• The Hotel had a nice appearance at the check in area, a nice area to sit and read or watch TV.
• Not a very welcoming appearance from the outside. I feel that it was not worth the money. Our room needed updating. Pictures missing from walls.

“We only stayed one night in this place. Nice location, however, we need not feel very comfortable there. Our room was missing pictures off the wall. Not very welcoming room at all. I would not stay at that location again.”

• The manager was at least helpful with our long list of complaints.
• Cleanliness, quality for the price was bad, run down.

“Horrible, horrible, horrible. Urine stains on the comforter, "hotel sized queen bed", fluorescent lights in the room, broken desk chair with suspicious stains, rusty fridge when they "upgraded" us, bugs in the bathroom, iron burns on the floor. It was one step up from a freshman college dorm. I will never stay there again.”

• The location next to main street/trolley was great with a park on both sides to sit in or stroll was nice.
• No pool.

“The location was great with the back of the hotel facing Main Street and the trolley line. We never moved our car. Beale Street and lots of great restaurants were within easy walking distance. Court Square, Confederate Park and the Mississippi River were all right there. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. We would stay here again.”

• Staff. They were very friendly, helpful. Really made you feel welcome and housekeeping did a great job!
• Nothing bad w/the hotel however Memphis has a problem with bums that travelers should be aware of.

“Great! Easy to find, great staff, clean room, complimentary continental breakfast, right on trolley line. Highly recommend!”

• Lowest cost business class hotel in the area.
• While fairly new, the public areas looked worn. Security was excellent but you felt like it was bad part of town - even though it really wasn't.

“Nothing wrong with this place. Low cost place to stay with no out of the ordinary frills. The staff was great. I was on business, but it's right on Main St. with a trolley station at the door. Great way to experience downtown Memphis without spending a lot of money. Overall good experience. I'd stay there again.”

“Convenient to downtown Memphis, and near many of the main attractions. Basic no frills, hotel but service is good, staff are friendly. Didn't really partake of the breakfast (didn't have time).”

• The staff was extremely helpful and courteous.
• The room I had was small and would opt for larger room next time.

“The location was great for all the downtown attractions in Memphis. The rooms were a little small for my liking but were efficient if you only need a place to sleep.”

• The mattresses were not very comfortable.

“The overall experience of the hotel was good. The front desk clerk was very knowledgeable and the security was a good plus. The room was clean. Very efficiently lay out. Wireless high speed internet was a surprise. Would stay again for the convenient location.”
