• Location. Free breakfast. Safe in room.
• It was a bit expensive.

“The hotel was clean, comfortable. Our room was pretty spacious. It has been remodeled and had nice furnishings. The garage was convenient to the elevator, not a long walk. I'd stay here again in Memphis.”

• Great pool! Good location! Safe! Very nice, good price, would go back!
• Can't think of a thing.

“Totally recommend it for anyone who would like a nice place that isn't too expensive, yet close to all the downtown attractions. You can go anywhere for a dollar on the trolley, it has a great view, nice pool, excellent breakfast, clean rooms. TV is a little small, but we weren't there for that.”

• Complimentary breakfast was very good.
• The door that stays shut at night. which causes you to walk the long way through the lobby.

• Good friendly clean hotel, with easy access to Beal Street, restaurants etc.
• Breakfast a bit hectic at peak times.

“Excellent location, easy to find even after a 300 mile bike motorbike ride. Good friendly staff, excellent secures parking for my and other guests Harleys (only $5 daily) right next to 24hr security. Easy access to Beal Street, restaurants etc by walking, or City Trolley cars which are very frequent and only $1 a trip. Or can hop on one of the many horse and carts for a sightseeing trip. Also has a good roof swimming pool and sunning area. Had coffee on tap all the time, but no bar, but with Memphis outside who needs one.”

• My stay was too brief.

• The cookies were good.
• No cookies on weekends. Towels smelled like smoke and the parking garage was gross.

“Overall served its purpose for a wedding 7 hrs away from home. Parking garage lack luster. security and staff very nice. The misplaced persons were very helpful with directions, etc, but everywhere around the hotel-annoying. Elevators shut way too fast and seemed a bit unsafe. Pool should stay open past 10. I had to actually put my finger in the TV to turn on, button missing.”

• Staff especially the woman who cleaned the room, personable and friendly, also a wealth of info about Memphis.
• No indoor pool.

• It was clean, convenient, safe and moderately priced. Breakfast was included which is a plus.
• The lobby and elevators were a little worn.

“This hotel is a perfect location for someone visiting Memphis to see the sights. It's centrally located, parking is only $5 per day, and it is right near the trolley line. The rooms were large, neat and attractive, and breakfast was included. I would stay there again.”

• My room was large and clean and had a view.
• I did not get maid service though I left the room for 6 hours during the day.

“The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful with directions. My room was, a river view room, but it was a side view of the river. My room was large and clean, though the plumbing in the bath was loose. The downtown location was a little far from Beale Street, but close to the Pyramid. All in all, a good value.”

• Proximity to downtown Memphis.
• AC on the fritz, and sheets were not changed daily.

“Overall the stay was okay. Not great not bad. A good moderate hotel. Would have liked my bedding to be changed daily.”

• Currently undergoing renovation. Parking garage needs maintenance.

“Hotel common area is being updated so construction noise was right outside our door. Headboard fell off of the wall. Parking garage needs maintenance and improved lighting. Room was clean and hotel was convenient to downtown attractions. Okay for budget travel.”

• The first night our room was in a noisy location on 1st floor.

• Woke up with insect bites on my right leg and on my wife's hip.

“The elevators are slow and make a lot of noise. Other than the insect bites the room was ok.”
