“Room wasn't bad, way smaller than expected, but comfortable. Bed slept well, but wasn't attached to the headboard anymore. Jacuzzi tub was a joke. Nothing more than a normal size bathtub with some jets. Service was good. Lobby entrance was scary. Parking was available but in a non-secure non-reserved lot, park at your own risk. Didn't have any issues but the smelly alley behind the pub, all this at $28/day. Wasn't very impressed to say the least. Will try St Marie next time. Wireless somewhat available from about 8 different sources, none of which were very strong or dependable. And I never found a movie channel. no HBO, SHO, etc.”

“My room was nothing but a dump. The toilet ran, the shower was so small I had to turn sideways to get into it. The shower rod was a piece of wood, the linoleum in the bathroom was cracked and raised, the brick wall had a crack that ran all the way down, the alarm clock quite working and there was no remote for the TV. When I finally got a remote from the front desk (some were helpful, others were not) I had to buy my own batteries. The hotel would not reimburse me for my cost of the batteries.”

“This hotel is very deceptive. Everything you see on the negative is true.”

“My daughter made this reservation for me, along with a reservation for herself and her husband. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that there were no parking facilities available and that there was also no elevator. I am partially disabled, and had to really struggle to carry up a bunch of luggage and cases to a second level room. We were told to find a parking space "on the street" that ran next to the hotel - which we did. After being towed the first night, we found a public parking lot that was eight blocks away. We had to park there and walk to get our cars each day. ”

“We didn't get maid service. The room was very small. The hotel doesn't provide parking. The hotel staff recommended a place for us to park and we got a ticket. Another member from our group got his car towed! I do not recommend this hotel.”

“I paid extra for a marble shower and got a regular tub in the bathroom. I want a refund immediately for the extra amount I paid. The manger of the hotel royal, Rochelle harries, can be contacted to substantiate my claim.”

“I enjoyed the location of Hotel Royal to Bourbon Street. It was close enough but still far enough away to not hear all the noises. The bed was comfortable, the balcony was nice, and the bathroom was beautiful!” Amenities at Hotel Royal, New Orleans
