“Liked the hotel. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. Guests should be aware though that the in-room coffee is not free. Also, the going up two different elevators to get to your room is a pain.”

“It was a last minute trip for my son and I. I was extremely pleased when I found out my accommodations were at the Westin, having stayed there before. Upon arrival, my son was presented with a nature themed backpack that contained a safari hat and lots of projects. The location was prefect, close to everything but removed from the noise associated with the French quarter (and they validate parking). Great weekend get away.”

“Great bed, furniture and TV. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. They wanted more money for parking and no free internet in the rooms! No valet yet and the pool was being worked on so it was unopened.”

“They should have pulled their hotel from the list. We basically went to lay poolside all day. Upon check in we were informed that the pool was out of order. Imagine our disappointment.”

“We enjoyed it very much. It was a bit confusing trying to figure out where to go to get to the lobby or to your room, it was worth it. Walking into the place was like walking into a different world, completely quiet and friendly, compared to the loud and wild French Quarter on a Saturday Night. Very friendly staff!”

“The hotel was attractive and you felt safe. The bed linens were great and the TV was nice, but did not feel like I was staying in a four star hotel. For the money I think I could have gotten a better location for shopping and dining.”

“The hotel has a great location, walking distance from the French quarter, casino, and restaurants. Aquarium and Imax were just down the block. Posh stores in the attached shopping center. Room furnishings were way under they style and elegance you would expect from this price range hotel, my company frequently has events here in new Orleans, and we will never come here again. We recommend Harrahs hotel for this price range and location, we found it to be simply, awesome! Brace yourself if you plan to drive in and park at the hotel. The hotel does not own it's own parking (WTF.), the parking garage charges you each time you exit the garage, no discounts from the hotel or any other kind of validation, in fact the hotel offered no sympathy or assistance with the arrangement at all. This a hotel you definitely want to keep your shoes on in the hall for those late niter ice runs, the hall carpets were absolutely "funky". New Orleans tourist district is absolutely fantastic; you should come and see it, but try another hotel. We live nearby and frequently stay overnight in the city, but never here again.”

“The room was extremely comfortable. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty. The first night, I had some problems sleeping and went in search of a vending machine that carried milk. I ended up at the front desk, and the desk clerk went to the kitchen to get some milk for me. He even asked if I wanted whole, low fat or skim. A couple of nights later, I had a blister on my foot and, of course, no band aid. Again, the clerk at the front desk came to my rescue. I ordered room service twice, and was completely satisfied. And, even though, I was a female staying alone in new Orleans, I was not at all nervous because of the security in the hotel. Room card keys were necessary to operate the elevator, and the hallways were very brightly lit.”
