• The hotel looked really nice and it was convenient to other locations.
• They charge parking.

“The hotel was very nice and I really liked the room. I didn't dine in but I am sure they had a nice restaurant. The walls seemed to be a little thin; I could hear the people next door really well. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I would love to stay there again.”

• The bath towels in my bathroom were hand towels.

• Had to wait over 2 hours for our after 3 pm check in.

“None of the guests were able to check in after 3 pm due to the fact that house cleaning fell behind in the cleaning of rooms. There was a lobby full of disappointed guests. We were nearly late for our evening event because of this. The only reason I got a room when I did was because I personally spoke with the manager. Our friend's room wasn't available either and they had to share our room in order to make the same event. When they were finally given a room, and returned after 2 am, house cleaning had removed their luggage thinking that they should have checked out.”

• The bed was awesome never slept so good in my life.
• Check in was for 3 pm, room wasn't ready until 6:10pm.

“It was a nice hotel however I was charged for a water out the mini bar what we never had and waiting the extra time for a room was the pits. The room was great and also very good location.”

• The staff is friendly and the location is excellent.
• The background music played throughout the hotel is too loud.

“This hotel was as billed and made for a nice stay in no. There is nothing perfect about it, but it's relatively clean, in a convenient and safe location, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's ever so slightly worn, so I would not call it "luxury," but it's very nice. The music played throughout the hotel adds to the experience, but it's played a bit too loud. I had a hard time finding a place in the hotel to make business calls outside of my room - again, the music.”

• I was able to leave the next day.
• They charged me for the room twice!

“When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was courteous. The receptionist did not know what she was doing and charged me for the room even after I paid. The room was dirty; the toilet had stains from previous users. The towels were stained and when the staff came up to clean the toilet, it took two maids to clean it and it was still dirty; telling me it had been there for a while (Was not a rust stain). The pool was very cold. I have one way to describe the staff and hotel "Ghetto"!”

“Had the pleasure of staying in this Hotel. Location was brills for the parades - passed just outside the Whiskey Blue Bar. French Quarter was just a stroll away. Staff were great and knows how to look after their guests.”

• Very chic and trendy, a great getaway extravagance.
• Valet only, at $30 per day.

“You've only got so many choices in N'awlins, you can either stay at a boutique (read: old Victorian) hotel or you can choose something more conventional. The W always proves to be a good show, fantastic people watching and not bad for the single crowd either. Our take is, the W is a must if you don't have to rise early in the morning because the goose down bed, comforter, and pillows will make you late!”

“When we arrived the valet and bell hops were very friendly and checking in was fast. The room was wonderful. We loved the bliss spa soap. We definitely enjoyed the comfortable bed. The view from our room was great. The Valet service was awesome. We never”

• The beds were so soft - like sleeping on a cloud.
• I loved everything.

“I had a great stay at the hotel. The beds were amazingly soft and felt like sleeping on a cloud. The room was very clean and modern. I loved it. The bell hop was very nice as well as the valet drivers. It seemed like everyone on the staff loved their job. The bar downstairs was a great way to end the day. I also loved the chaise lounge chair in my room. I had the most relaxing stay ever.”

“The hotel was well situated in the city. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. The room had a terrible odor. The carpet was damp and stained, the bedspread was stained. Since I was staying a minimal time in the room I didn't ask for another. I won't stay there again.”

• The valet was the nicest experience of my trip.
• They will charge you for everything.

“This hotel dose not has the business professional in mind. They will charge you for internet connection in your room but allow you to connect to the internet in their so called "business center which is down stairs next to the bar very distracting. Try to get anything resolved is next to impossible their associates are not empowered to make decisions. This was the worst two weeks of my traveling life will not recommend or ever stay there again.”

• it was a gorgeous hotel. considering it was a busy time of year for new orleans, the service and facilities were great.
• A little slow service since it was a very high travel time in new orleans. They could have had a few more employees on the clock.

“The coolest hotel we have ever stayed in. Maybe not the fanciest. But most definitely the coolest! We have used it many times and have only been disappointed one time. The may be the best experience ever!”
