• The hotel was what I had expected. The location was convenient for my needs.
• Hotel staff didn't seem interested in my needs. Front desk person on personal phone call while I waited.

“The room was clean and it was nice to have a kitchen. I did like that there was a complimentary breakfast but the food was only marginal. I was especially happy with the price I got the room for which made this hotel a good value.”

• I liked the friendly staff, good breakfast, great location, size of room, cleanliness of facilities.
• I didn't like stains in the hallways and on upholstery of room furniture.

• The restaurant was nice.
• Doorman was very rude and staff could not solve problems.

“The doorman was very rude and the staff could not fix our television (we were tired and wanted to rent a movie and could not get our TV to work. After speaking to three different people the problem was not resolved. One of the staff members could barely speak English. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. $9/day for internet access and $30/day for parking on top of the four star rate was not worth the money.”

“This was an excellent hotel in the heart of New Orleans. It was near the French Quarter and the cable cars to the Garden District. It was safe, comfortable and clean. The hotel provided food and the staff were amazing. The work out room was great too. Loved it!”

“Wow! Where do I start? I am currently staying in the Residence Inn and find the staff and their attitudes toward their guests to be reprehensible. There is a lady at the front desk who should stay home on most days because she appears to be very unhappy with herself and only smiles when the general manager is on site. One of the older female workers in the cafeteria started a verbal argument with my 13 year old in front of many guest because she asked for milk 5 minutes after breakfast was over. The workers all appear to be busy when everyone knows their motive is to go outside for a cigarette break all during the day. On more than one occasion my room has been entered into without so much as a knock.”

• Staff was friendly and helpful
• Cooking items were VERY sparse even for me - no homecoming for my date

“Overall a good experience the staff friendly and helpful. Location ideal for the art studios in the area, one of Emril's three restaurants in NOLA 1 block away. A short walk to the French quarter.”

• It's close to the convention center, and well lighted
• Very small room

“If it had only been one person in the room it would have been comfortable. However, we started out with 2 and wound up with 3. The room was Very small when you tried to put 3 people in it. Not what I had expected.”

• small and very basic bathroom

“Delivered for the rating and was exceptional for the price. I would stay again. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facilities were more than adequate. Coffee was good and the breakfast buffet was an extra.”

• Exactly what I expected for price and rating.
• Wanted two double beds instead of sofa bed.
