• Good location.
• Very rude staff. We did not feel welcome here.

“We encountered three staff personnel and all were very rude. It was as if we were bothering them that we wanted to check into our room. The room, though, was nice and the location is great.”

• Ambiance is good and staff is very friendly and helpful.
• Not sure but my room was noisy (possibly elevator).

“Enjoyed my stay here and preferred over the intercontinental (though staff was excellent there too). I just found the Sheraton had a better layout.”

• Central location, clean rooms, friendly service.
• Charge for wireless/high speed internet access, expensive required valet.

“I stayed at this hotel because of a conference that was being held here. It was a clean hotel with good service. However, it is beyond comprehension to me why there is no complimentary wireless access or why it is so poor all throughout the hotel. What is more, valet parking is required and it's $30/day! If you're about the French Quarter (I'm not), it's in a pretty good location.”

• The location is right next to Decatur St.
• Unfriendly customer service and there was some excrement left in the toilet!

“Not what I thought when I booked the Sheraton, unfriendly check-in staff, room had an odor; toilet had some excrement left in, very expensive parking ($30 per night). The room did have a reasonable view of the Mississippi River. If you're looking for a great time in NOLA with your partner/spouse, look elsewhere. We had a better time at the Marriott last time, although there was no view.”

• Nice location.
• Seems like every time I did something, I had to tip someone. I couldn't even carry my own bags.

“Typical downtown NOLA hotel. Way better than staying in the Quarter cruise its still an easy walk. The Quarter smells, dont get me wrong it's fun, but it smells.”

• The staff was very attentive.
• The bathroom floor grout appeared dirty. There were dust bunnies on the bathroom door hinges.

“The staff was very attentive from the time we pulled in. We were informed upfront that the parking fee would be $30.00, but there are few choices in the downtown area and we had driven 8 hours to get there. Staff was helpful in directing us to restaurants that serve local cuisine.”
