• The room interior decoration
• No microwave, fridge or TV remote. No replacement of coffee or sugar. Left used packs on coffee maker.

“The room I reserved was not available. Very tight Quarters. Stay was miserable with no TV remote. Hotel parking was over thirty dollars a day and valet took SUV to undisclosed location to park it. Hotel was central to public transportation and main strip Canal St. New Orleans, LA.”

• The beds were quite comfortable.
• Expensive and inefficient valet parking was compulsory and the pool was just a fountain.

“It was just awful. Truly awful. It was the worst part of our entire vacation.”

• The room was beautiful, and I enjoyed the balcony.
• The surrounding area doesn't feel very safe, and there aren't many extra amenities.

“The room is beautiful and has everything one would hope for in a room, plus it is within walking distance of the French Quarter and the Warehouse Art districts. But the immediate neighborhood is not particularly nice, although probably safe enough. So if you don't mind a quick slightly unpleasant jaunt from the lovely room to the nearby sites, I would recommend this hotel.”

“I have stayed at the St James before and it was very nice. This time however they relocated me to another property that was not in the French Quarter. I was very disappointed with the location and accommodations at the new location.
