• The location was the only positive for this hotel.
• Service was the worst I have ever experienced.

“The service was deplorable. No assistance with bags and management did not care about our concerns. The rooms were very small for the money. This was the most money I have every paid for a hotel room and the worst service I have ever experienced.”

• I really liked the location and the staff was fantastic.
• We were evacuated from the hotel 2 days early.

“Well, we were suppose to check out of the hotel on Monday Sept 1 but the hotel, per Mayor of New Orleans, had all hotels closed down by noon due to Hurricane Gustav.”

• The hotel is beautiful, classy and the location to the French quarter is excellent.
• I did not realize parking was $30 a day. I would have stayed, anyway.

“I will stay here whenever we go to New Orleans. The hotel is beautiful and classy and part of history. The roof top pool is breath taking. Service is great. The location is excellent.”

• The staff and the service was excellent and all of the amenities were excellent.
• I liked everything.

“The hotel was just as I expected. The room was large, the view was great, the bar and entertainment was as usual terrific. My 40th wedding anniversary was great. In fact the hotel was just as lovely and gracious as it was the 1968 for our honeymoon.”

• The bed and pillows were super comfortable.

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Monteleone. We were on the 14th floor, so we had a great view. The hotel is in a great location and everyone is so friendly. I will stay here again in the future.”

• From Mr. Bill Monte Leone to the bus boy, all were excellent!
• I'm thinking! Heck! Cannot find anything!

“This is the very best stay we have had in New Orleans, having been here multitudinous times. We had more fun with the staff than should be allowed. An absolutely perfect stay.”

• The location was perfect, the hotel history was fascinating, and, the rooms were oh so comfortable.
• Nothing.

• Spotless room. Excellent bed. Great shower and water pressure. Quiet!
• No umbrellas for guests in rooms.

“My husband and I stayed at the Monte Leone for our 22nd anniversary. From the moment we stepped inside the hotel until the time we checked out our stay was superb. The room was quite large and included a desk for working or to use as a makeup table and a comfortable chair for relaxing or reading. The bed was so comfortable. The room is tastefully decorated. The bathroom is a nice size. The shower will blow you away. I don't believe I have ever had such great water pressure in a hotel. The doorman and bell captain were very attentive, yet friendly. This is a hotel with Southern charm and a regal atmosphere without being haughty. I will definitely stay there again.”

• The room was clean and the health club was excellent. The health club had plenty of equipment with TV monitors for each exercise machine.
• The street noise was so loud it was difficult to sleep. Also, high-speed Internet cost $10 a day.

“The streets adjacent to this hotel are very loud with people yelling and car stereos booming. Do not stay at this hotel if you want to have a restful vacation. Moreover, this hotel charges $10 a day to connect to the Internet. Previous to the stay at this hotel, I've always had high-speed Internet for free during hotel stays.”

• Front Desk staff not familiar with the procedures.

“Excellent hotel located in the heart of the French Quarter. Very quiet and luxurious. Great place for a get away weekend.”

• Close to everything in the French Quarter, but far enough away from the noise to make it perfect.
• Due to Katrina, the hotel offered limited services at this time.

“Great hotel, great location. The French Quarter is almost fully reopen after Katrina and people were much friendlier than they have been on previous trips (pre-Katrina).”

• Great atmosphere, close to everything. Heart of new Orleans.
• View from our room was not great. Noise from guest next door.

“Overall loved it. Just the few things listed about what I didn't like above. We were celebrating my husbands Birthday and I ask to have a cake in the room for when we arrived. I waited till the last minute to order it and they were still able to have it there for us!”
