“Staff at the hotel know the area very well and gave great suggestions for what to see, where to eat. My son got sick during our stay and staff told me about a capable, fast and convenient urgent care facility. Thanks!”

  • Location is fantastic.
  • Other than the valet attendant, no one else cared about you.

“There are only a few positive things to say about this hotel. The three best things about the hotel are that the valet attendants are very nice and friendly, the location and the room was clean. The size of the room was extremely disappointing for the price. It was quite small. The surcharges are ridiculous! Parking for one night was $33.00 not counting tip. The surcharge for the privilege to use their internet service is nearly $15.00. Check out at the hotel is not until noon. However, housekeeping starting cleaning rooms at 9 am and seemed quite agitated that I had not left yet. After the third time they knocked on my door, even with the do not disturb sign outside, I decided to leave. I have stayed at other Marriott hotels, however, even as pretty and clean as it is, it was still a terrible overall experience, especially for the price!”

  • The location was close to every attraction.
  • I would have preferred a single king size bed.

  • Location. Also the bed was very comfortable.
  • The shower is awful and has always been awful no matter what room. No pressure.

“This hotel is in one of the most convenient locations if you're interested in walking on foot through the French Quarter. Ask for a room with a view of the river! Beautifully appointed lobby and rooms, but if good water pressure is a requirement for you, then this hotel is not.”

“Overall the hotel was fine. They do not offer free internet to hotel guests. That is a major negative. The restaurant staff was not very responsive, and the food was not necessarily as advertised.”

  • The location is wonderful. A couple of blocks west is the French Quarter, and a couple of blocks east is the Riverwalk. Perfect location to walk.
  • Maid service was inconsiderate. Knocked on our door early in the morning day of check-out to ask if we were going to check out. and at what time.

“Not a bad choice given its great location to everything you would want to see sightseeing-wise. The hotel is decent-looking, not luxurious or fancy looking (for that, the Sheraton, just across the street looks better). Staff were very friendly, except for the maid. She came by on the day of check out early in the morning to ask if were were checking out and at what time - that's unnecessary given that the front desk knows that information and check out time is officially by noon. The maid didn't care if she woke us up, she wanted to let us know she was waiting for us to get out to get in to clean. Other than that, the staff was friendly and supportive. Was traveling with a 3-month old baby and were got a baby crib and a refrigerator (for free) w/in 5 mins of arriving.”

  • I loved our view and the decor of the room and lobby.
  • Wi-fi wasn't included in rate and parking fees were not presented before we parked.

“This hotel was a great choice, family friendly and very clean. The only reservations I had for this room is that the wi-fi wasn't included in the rate, and it should have been (as we stayed at a less expensive hotel the night before in Destin that had free wi-fi, free continental breakfast and free fridge/microwave in room) and the lady at the reception did not mention anything about fees for the parking garage, but rather just told us where it was. So, expect an extra $33.00 added to your hotel room for one night of parking!”

  • Pretty close to all the city has to offer!
  • The door jam of my room was coming off so I had a lost sense of security no other rooms were available due 2 weddings.
