• The hotel and staff was nice.
• Hotel does not publish that they charge for parking & internet which turned out to be an additional $40/day. I choose this hotel over others in the area because I didn't think I would be charged for them.

“I was angered to learn (at check-in) that my room was going to cost me another $40/day for parking and internet usage. I specifically selected the Royal Sonesta because, while their room rates were generally higher than others in the area, there was no mention of parking and internet charges. Many of the other hotels published the fact that those charges were additional. I assumed the higher room rate was because they didn't charge separately for parking and internet usage. I felt like I was deceived by the hotel. Had I known of the added charges, I would have made another hotel selection. The hotel and staff was nice.”

• Location very convenient to French Quarter and business district.
• No negatives.

“The hotel it clean, attractive, and the staff is competent and friendly. It is located in a very busy section of town on Bourbon street that is noted for rowdy party makers. Even so, the hotel lobby and the rooms are quiet and free of the outside din. The pool area and surrounding patio is very pleasant and a comfortable place to relax.”

• One minute you are on Bourbon Street, then you step into the beautiful lobby of the hotel and you are transported somewhere beautiful.
