“The hotel has been remodeled over the past 3 years since hurricane Katrina. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the renovated room we stayed in. The hotel is within a reasonable walking distance to Harrah's casino and the French quarter attractions and is close to the parade routes during Mardi Gras.”

“The hotel was nice and the location was great. Close to Mother's and Bourbon St. The bathroom was odd. It had half of a shower door instead of a curtain. The soundproofing was awful. We were located directly by the elevator so, that may have something to do with the horrible amount of disturbances while sleeping. The parking was reasonable and the valet service would bring your car around even if you just needed to get something out of your car.”

“The Omni Royal Crescent lived up to it's name. The rooms were stunning, the view out of the giant windows was nice, the rooftop pool/workout room area was gorgeous. Eating breakfast each morning was a nice treat to start the day off. They pull out all of the stops for you here. This is a luxury hotel and staying there will make you feel luxurious!”

“The decor was nice. The complimentary continental breakfast was great. There were problems with my room. Mainly the bathroom door was not installed correctly which resulted in the door not closing completely. The room was a little small but it was nicely decorated. When I returned in the afternoon, the maid service did not clean the room or provide clean towels. I had to call three times to get them to bring towels. The valet parking price is outrageous, $26 per night. Try and find your own parking if you can.”

“Over the entire Hotel was nice, clean, charming rooms and lobby. However the check in nearly lost us an entire day at the festival. We called to see if we could get an early check in. Not only did we not get an early check in, the room was not ready almost 3 hours after check in time. There were at least 4 other guest that were waiting for their rooms. And I got very angry.”

“I found it to be very clean. It had a LCD TV but only had an analog signal to it. If they're going to spend that kind of cash for a nice TV they should upgrade to digital service. The staff made you feels as if you were a bother to them when you asked for standard service.”

“When we arrived at the hotel, there were many hot, angry customers in the lobby. The Air Conditioning was out in the entire hotel. The commotion in the lobby dragged our check-in process to about 25 minutes of waiting as employees rushed around trying to look like they were problem solving. They finally gave us a key and asked us to come back later to sign papers that they couldn't find. No big deal, but we had been standing there for 25 minutes! When we got into the room, it was sweltering. This made things very uncomfortable as we were trying to hurriedly get dressed for a wedding. We called down to the front desk to get a taxi. When we got downstairs, there was no taxi. No one had called them. So we waited another 10-15 minutes for a taxi to show up. We finally walked up the street to hail one ourselves. As all of these little delays added up, we missed the wedding ceremony. A few other annoyances: our bathroom sink leaked the entire time. Despite a "do not disturb" sign, housekeeping knocked on our door long before check-out to ask if we were leaving. Unacceptable. A ridiculously high rate for a hotel with so many problems with both the room and customer service.”

“This hotel was not accommodating. I called the hotel and told them I needed 2 double beds in my room and they said that was no problem. When we got to the hotel we only had 1 double bed in the room. I explained to the hotel the situation and told them that I had talked to someone with the hotel previously and told them I needed 2 double beds.”

“The hotel is convenient to the convention center and casino. The lobby is beautifully appointed, but it is in an old building. There is free Wi-Fi and the rooms are also well appointed with beautiful marble bathrooms. My particular room was noisy which made it difficult to sleep. There is no pool but instead there is a large unheated whirlpool which is to small to swim in and to cold to enjoy as a hot tub.”

“Beautifully appointed rooms which are perfect for couples. Not really family oriented, but usually you don't expect that in New Orleans either.”

“Our room was dirty with bugs and roaches on the floor, water would only get warm and the remote didn't work. We were placed in another room which was much better. Food was not good and the service poor at the restaurant although the cost was extremely high. We waited 43 minutes for valet service. We will avoid staying there again.”

“This hotel is nice for 2 people to stay. If you have a family or more than 2 you may as well go to another hotel. Each room only has either a king bed or a queen bed. There are no rooms with 2 double or 2 queens. The staff was not helpful or friendly.”
