“This did not feel like a 3 star hotel! Rooms were very small and cramped. No where near luxurious!!! However, it was adequate for the price paid. Thank goodness I got it through priceline and did not pay the regular rate.”

“The hotel was filthy. They put me (a non-smoker) in a smoking room my first night that stank so bad my eyes were red from the irritation. They didn't replace wash-clothes, so I didn't have one the last day of my stay. They tried to over-charge me for laundry and pretended to be helpless over the charges, making my check-out take an absurdly long time. And the guy responsible for closing the pool at night tried to shut it down an hour early and was rather annoying about trying to herd me out of the area so he could go home early (I suppose).”

“Parking was offered, but there were no secondary options to park on the street, so we had to pay $26 per night (very expensive for area offered) that was not in the budget! I did not expect a smoking room and was very disappointed that was what I ended up with. The hotel was very clean, but it's hard to get around that odor. When describing that I was traveling as two (married) I expected to most likely get a non-smoking queen or king room, instead got stuck with a 2 double bed, smoking room. Very disappointing, but the price was still much lower than any others.”

“Located in the French Quarter near major areas of interest, this hotel was a great place for a romantic get-a-way. The friendly, helpful staff, the ease of parking and the comfortable beds all contributed to a great stay at a super bargain price considering it was a major college football weekend too!”

“The hotel was very old and not updated. They might have been in the process of updating but our room was not. Wallpaper was falling off, carpet was turned up in the corner, and the furniture was very, very old. We expected a 3 star hotel but got a less than 2 star hotel. We were very disappointed.”

“The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to almost any attraction (wear comfy shoes)and dozens of restaurants are close by. The rooms are pretty average for a hotel, nothing outstanding. Parking is $26 a night.”

“This is a nice hotel, friendly staff, helpful, but you will have to pay $26 dollars a night to park in their parking garage. And there really is no street parking that will be available, so be sure to add that to the hotel cost.”

“The hotel was nice but my only disappointment was the bed which sank toward it's middle, and the toilet seat.”

“This hotel was ok for what I wanted, but the extra charge for parking which most hotels that I have stayed in before in New Orleans included parking. So had to park and walk quite a way back to the hotel.”

“Bathroom's toilet overflowed, unable to repair, had to move rooms, lock out of room after spending time in the pool and grandchild ended up with a cold because he had to stay in an air conditioned hall while someone in swimwear went down to get a working key card.”

“Location is great and staff is friendly but the elevators are very slow and hot. There was usually a long line for the elevators and the waiting time was horrible.”
