  • Sports bar on premises was awesome. Location to the best part of the French Quarter was perfect.
  • Stairways were kind of
smelly and grimy but it is old New Orleans. Lobby a little small.

“Great location and a expansive Sports Bar attached to Hotel with 30 TV's for any team playing.”

  • The bathroom was big and the shower head was great!
  • Reminded us of Shoneys. Old. The room was obviously updated but the halls and elevators were out of date. It was loud at night being in the Quarter

“This did not feel like a 3 star hotel! Rooms were very small and cramped. No where near luxurious!!! However, it was adequate for the price paid. Thank goodness I got it through priceline and did not pay the regular rate.”

  • I loved that my stay was only of short duration.

“The hotel was filthy. They put me (a non-smoker) in a smoking room my first night that stank so bad my eyes were red from the irritation. They didn't replace wash-clothes, so I didn't have one the last day of my stay. They tried to over-charge me for laundry and pretended to be helpless over the charges, making my check-out take an absurdly long time. And the guy responsible for closing the pool at night tried to shut it down an hour early and was rather annoying about trying to herd me out of the area so he could go home early (I suppose).”

  • It was well located in relation to where we wanted to visit.
  • There was not very many restaurants within walking distance and no breakfast offered.

“Parking was offered, but there were no secondary options to park on the street, so we had to pay $26 per night (very expensive for area offered) that was not in the budget! I did not expect a smoking room and was very disappointed that was what I ended up with. The hotel was very clean, but it's hard to get around that odor. When describing that I was traveling as two (married) I expected to most likely get a non-smoking queen or king room, instead got stuck with a 2 double bed, smoking room. Very disappointing, but the price was still much lower than any others.”

  • Comfortable beds and friendly staff.

“Located in the French Quarter near major areas of interest, this hotel was a great place for a romantic get-a-way. The friendly, helpful staff, the ease of parking and the comfortable beds all contributed to a great stay at a super bargain price considering it was a major college football weekend too!”

  • The location.
  • Toilet didn't work, stuff on the ceiling, noisy.

“I would not recommend this hotel unless you need something close to the quarter.”

  • Not the quality promised or expected.

“The hotel was very old and not updated. They might have been in the process of updating but our room was not. Wallpaper was falling off, carpet was turned up in the corner, and the furniture was very, very old. We expected a 3 star hotel but got a less than 2 star hotel. We were very disappointed.”

  • The location was great! Within walking distance of almost everything.
  • The lobby is small and the elevators are slow.

“The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to almost any attraction (wear comfy shoes)and dozens of restaurants are close by. The rooms are pretty average for a hotel, nothing outstanding. Parking is $26 a night.”

  • Great location - 2 blocks from Bourbon.
  • Rooms were kind of small, but clean.

“Went on a girls weekend. Great location to Bourbon St.. There is also a Walgreens, McDonald's, and Subway within steps of the hotel.”

  • The location was superb! It was in the center of everything!
  • Parking in the garage was uncomfortable for me or anyone who may have that sort of phobia.

“The hotel and its staff were very professional.”

“This is a nice hotel, friendly staff, helpful, but you will have to pay $26 dollars a night to park in their parking garage. And there really is no street parking that will be available, so be sure to add that to the hotel cost.”

  • Location to our destination.
  • The bed and the toilet seat.

“The hotel was nice but my only disappointment was the bed which sank toward it's middle, and the toilet seat.”

  • Great location to all parts of the French Quarter.
  • Room had a miniature window and pool area not so clean.

“Nice place to sleep, and easy access to walk the French Quarter. Clean room, Not to great if you plan on hanging out in the hotel.”

  • Walking distance to all.
  • Ran out of coffee in room.

“Tiny, storefront lobby in The FQ. Polite staff, even though they are very busy. Clean, cool room with a view of Iberville St. activities!”

  • Walking distance of everything
I wanted to do in New Orleans.
  • Extra Charge for parking.

“This hotel was ok for what I wanted, but the extra charge for parking which most hotels that I have stayed in before in New Orleans included parking. So had to park and walk quite a way back to the hotel.”

  • Tried to accommodate me to the best of their ability.
  • Poor bathroom facilities, lock was out of room because key was not working.

“Bathroom's toilet overflowed, unable to repair, had to move rooms, lock out of room after spending time in the pool and grandchild ended up with a cold because he had to stay in an air conditioned hall while someone in swimwear went down to get a working key card.”

  • Good location, clean.
  • Elevators slow and hot, waiting long periods of time to get on the elevators.

“Location is great and staff is friendly but the elevators are very slow and hot. There was usually a long line for the elevators and the waiting time was horrible.”
