  • The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable
  • The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke due to the bar that was located off the lobby

“The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The only thing that was bad was the smell in the lobby. It was clean but the cigarette smell was awful. The minute you walked in the lobby that was the only thing you could smell.”

  • Met my expectations close to French quarter.

“Enjoyed the stay, friendly staff, close to the parting.”

  • Close to Bourbon st but quiet.
  • TV didn't work last day.

“A
cozy little hotel in French Quarter.”

  • Wrist bands required to gain entry $25 to replace if lost.

“This hotel was clean and neat and the only hotel I have personally stayed at in the French quarter. I stayed during Mardi Gras and expected there to be partying going on at the hotel (only 1 block from Bourbon) however wrist bands were required for entry.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The staff went out of their way to help find places to eat, directions, and cabs.
  • The worst thing I can say is that the place could stand to be redecorated but I don't have to live here, just visit!

“We have stayed here several times over the past few years and find it to be consistent and really accommodating. The rooms are not spectacularly decorated, but they are clean, the staff is very helpful, and you can't beat the location! You are minutes walk from the French quarter, dining, the river, etc and yet it is pretty quiet!”

  • Attractive, clean and great location.
  • Nothing.

“Friendly hotel staff, great location within French Quarter, two blocks from Bourbon St, a few more from River Front. Everything needed is within quick walking distance. Did not feel any area nearby was unsafe.

  • Location.
  • Valet dented car. Had to change room twice, AC leaked from ceiling. No vent in bathroom.

“Good location, just 1 block from Bourbon Street. Had to pay $35 daily for valet parking and car got dented. Returned to front desk 3 times because key didn't work finally got another room. Decor was adequate. Did enjoy the free wireless internet.”

  • Good location in the French Quarter.
  • Poor Parking.

“The hotel was quaint and in a good location near the French Quarter. Valet parking was expensive but adequate. Staff appeared friendly and helpful. Good value for the money.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • Great location, clean, nice rooms, nice staff.
  • Elevators were small and beat-up and some hallway carpets worn, however, this did not detract from my stay.

“Excellent hotel and value. Great location. Would stay here again and would recommend to my friends.”

  • Our hotel had water damage and box springs were broken.
  • The staff, the rooms.

“Our room had a mildew smell and the carpet was soaked. They said they would fix it but didn't. We asked to move and they put us into a room with two double beds when we asked them not to. Didn't apologize and didnt take any effort into fixing our problems. Very disappointed.”

  • Nothing really.

“For the location and the atmosphere in and out that you get from this hotel is perfect for business or just fun travels and it has a pool. I hope to stay every visit.”

  • Its location, its cleanliness, and the staff's friendliness.
  • Mattresses were a little too soft.

“I would recommend it as an excellent location for the first-time visitor to New Orleans.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • Close to various attractions.
  • Every day we need to activate the key card to enter room.

“It was located very close to Bauborn street. Many attractions are in the vicinity. Rooms were neat and clean. We stayed in the room only during our night stay. It was very close to many fun places. Except to activate the key card daily (which we found inconvenient) there is nothing wrong with the hotel.”

  • Location.
  • Loud guests.

“I could not have asked for anything more. Yes, our room had no view, but others open to the courtyard. But this hotel is housed in a beautiful building and has a lovely pool and landscaping. Also, it's in the heart of the French Quarter, a short walk from most tourist attractions. A quick trip home from Bourbon St. to use clean facilities is a definite bonus, too.”

  • All Holiday Inns are rather generic.

“Clean, what I would expect from a Holiday Inn, neither more nor less -- fine for people who just want a clean, comfortable room in a great location.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Extremely accommodating staff. Everyone was incredibly courteous and professional.
  • Only Valet parking.

“The location was perfect for visiting Bourbon Street, Hurrahs casino and all of the great historical areas of the French Quarter. The staff were worth there weight in Gold. They were extremely patient although there was a mix of "Spring Breakers" and International tourist all around. How about that for a mix!”
