• It was well located to all the attraction and it was very beautiful.
• The ice machine on our floor didn't work and I had to go up one floor to get ice.

“This hotel was just the perfect place for us to stay. Beds were so very comfortable. Everything was very clean and well kept for an old building. We were withing walking distance of everything.”

• Convenience and
  beautiful.

“I was nervous but I can't stop talking about this hotel! Short walk to Harrah's and Bourbon street. We stayed in a double occupancy room. It had a large bathroom that I couldn't complain about. The rooms were clean and wonderfully decorated. Can't recommend enough.”

• The room was very small. They charged extra to bring in a cot which I felt they shouldn't have. They were not welcoming when we got there.

“For the price of the hotel and the rating I thought it would be nicer. I was not impressed at all especially since they were not friendly.”

• This hotel was very elegant, beautiful in detail, and very interesting because it was a bank.
• The only thing I did not like about this hotel is that there was not direct parking to the hotel.

“This hotel was beautiful, elegant, and wonderful to walk around with your head looking up to the ceiling. The building was and is a bank only on one side now, but the element of the bank still lingers around the building. It is a plus. The room was very nice, but it could use a few maintenance updates, and a fridge.”

• Comfortable bed, pretty room, and pretty hotel.
• The scalding hot water that never cooled off when I took a shower that night.

“The hotel was very pretty. The only complaint I have is when we got back to the room after going out, I wanted to take a shower, well the water was so hot even when I had it on cold. So that was unpleasant and when I went to call the front desk the phone in the room did not work at all, also I had to use my cell phone, overall the room was really nice.”

• On shuttle route to convention centre.
• Seemed old. Not real clean. Bathtub faucet did not work well.

“Hotel is a converted bank, small lobby & 1st floor. Health Club is a converted guest room with a couple of machines. Uninviting.”

“Great staff, moderate size room, great bath room but limited lightning and expensive parking. But that is New Orleans, able to check in without bellman.”

• Very conveniently located to riverfront and casino.
• Once again parking is a nightmare. This hotel has valet parking for $28.00 a night. Ridiculous!

“This is a nice hotel that has been refurbished and modernized. It is very conveniently located in downtown NO. Very close to the Riverfront area and the casinos. Walking distance to the French Quarter. Parking is difficult. Valet is stupid expensive. Parking garage is difficult to find and was closed late at night when I returned. Three stars, not any more.”

• Food was very good and cheap, very small menu though.
• Lobby was small.

“Rooms were clean and neat, we were treated very well by staff. This is not a 4 star motel but it is a decent place to stay.”

• The room was spacious and comfortable.
• The room had not been cleaned properly. Sheets and robe were missing.

“The hotel was conveniently located to the tourist areas of New Orleans. The front desk associate (Tanya) was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant seemed nice, but we did not dine in. Our room was missing a top sheet, sheets for the sofa, and a robe and slippers. One of the towels in the bathroom was dirty (not stained). The room itself was lovely. We were very comfortable with the accommodations.”

• The amazing bed and location of hotel.
• The room was small, but cozy.

“Everything, from the restaurant to the room was wonderful! Definitely recommend for a partner trip! Will definitely be staying there again. And
the front desk clerk, was beyond helpful and accommodating!”

• Very nice and comfortable.
• Hard to park for check in and hotel parking very expensive.

“We were impressed with the room. We will stay there again. Only negatives are hard to find a place to park for check in and valet parking is very expensive.”

“From the broken phone, broken internet box, missing coffee pot, rude staff, inefficient parking, stench, vagrants sitting on the floor in the hallway. It was terrible.”

• It was clean, quiet, easy no hassle check in.
• Non smoking.

“It was relatively inexpensive, the staff was nice, the rooms were clean ands well maintained although it was kind of far from the French quarter where the action is.”

“Didn't have a gym or pool or hot tub beautiful hotel though room was small but beautiful, had to pay for internet ($10/day), staff was very helpful, unique hotel.”
