• Friendly staff, attention to detail.
• Incidentals, bar/food a bit pricey, even for 4 star.

“Charming, very roomy clean room, nice attention to details like available plugs etc, convenient location, short walk to quarter, street car stop across street.”

• New, modern, clean, comfortable hotel with trained, attentive personnel.
• In-room internet pricey.

• It was a nice hotel.
• They didn't meet my request to clean my room.

“Over all the hotel was nice and pleasant but the hotel didn't meet my request to clean my room and by the time I arrive back in the room the housekeepers were gone for the night. For a four star hotel that is down right unacceptable.”

• Very nice room, the bed was very comfortable, everything was well decorated and clean.
• No exhaust fan in the bathroom, our web TV didn't work, but was repaired quickly.

“Very nice hotel in a good location within walking distance to the French Quarter. There were wedding receptions going on in the lobby/meeting room areas, so others thought it was very nice too! It was decorated richly, the staff was nice, everything was 4 star. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Restaurant staff was not well trained and were slow.

“The hotel Intercontinental is an excellent hotel. The restaurant staff, particularly the dinner staff, was not well trained and not attentive enough. Service was very slow.”

• The atmosphere was pleasant, the room was beautiful, its location was great and the staff was friendly.
• Nothing.

“We enjoyed our stay at Intercontinental Hotel. From the time we arrived at the entrance to the time we checked out, everything went smoothly. We hope to have the opportunity to stay at that hotel again. We will be sure to recommend this hotel to our family and friends.”

• The entry was grand, hotel location is great.
• Parking is too costly, rooms are moderate.

“When we entered this hotel it looked grand from the first step. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However the room we got was just ok and did not do the justice to overall hotel. Overall a comfortable stay.”

• The hotel was clean and had very attentive staff.
• The room offered a balcony but it did not have a nice view.

“My spouse and I had trouble with the parking. We ended up parking in a garage located on the opposite side of the entrance because it was labeled Inter-continental Parking which ended up being cheaper in the long run. The service checking in was fabulous. We were new to the area and the attendant provided brochures and maps to the local entertainment. They even suggested a local restaurant for breakfast that was absolutely delicious. The accommodations were very nice and clean. I would recommend this hotel.”

• Awesomely comfortable beds.
• Very noisy. Loud pipes. Quite a ruckus when a nearby guest used the shower.

“Very old school in terms of decor but suited to Old New Orleans. Very helpful concierge. Some things are a little worn and could use replacement e.g., fixtures (rusty, leaking) in the bathrooms. Almost no drawer space for clothes. No free internet.”

• Convenient location to convention center and French Quarter.
• On the week-end, nothing around is open.

“We walked to French Quarter and it is no far. St. Charles Cable Car is just out the door. This is more of a business location and hotel than vacation spot. Nothing close on week-end. Also, we got a "Non-smoking" room on a "smoking" floor. Don't fall for that. The hallway clearly was "Smoking" and bad for my daughter's asthma.”

• Housekeeping did not replenish any items.

“The hotel was great, and certainly met our expectations. We were disappointed only in the housekeeping. On the second day, we got no soaps, fresh coffee, etc. It made us think the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. And when we asked for replacements, the front desk was quick to comply, but only with some of the items. Overall, though, it was a great hotel, and we'd stay there again.”

• I was able to hear guest in the next room.

“My overall visit at this hotel was very good. I really enjoyed my stay. The valet and hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet even suggested great places to eat when ask for locations in the area. The next time I have an overnight or a weekend planned in that area, I would book this hotel again.”

“This hotel was an excellent. The service was excellent and the surroundings were first-class. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff and service personnel were polite and solicitous. Room service was punctual.”

• The amenities reminded me of my home, and I felt at home living there for a night.

• The window coverings are too sheer, allowing too much light (even evening light) into the room, making it difficult to sleep.
